I had Gutter Helmet installed two years ago. Gutters over run and splash mud, from the flower bed, onto the house. They leak over the edges at the valleys. They also need cleaning all the time from where they over run. Any small piece from the trees interrupts the flow into the gutters and I end up with a black spot. The reason I purchased them was because I got tired of cleaning the leafs from the gutters. Now the gutters stay clear but the cleaning and maintenance is still there. The gutter guards never worked, they said it was due to pollen but it would take at least six weeks for them to come out to clean them. In that time, it was like not having gutters at all. It would only take a few weeks for them to stop working again, and we would go round and round trying to get them to come out again. I ended up pulling them off. Buying them was like throwing money away.

Trying to make an appointment to have someone clean the gutter "helmets" is impossible. They take your info and say "someone will call you back within 3 weeks to make an appointment." They never call back. I should not have to wait 3 weeks for a call back to make an appointment. Two years ago I called to have shields placed at a few corners where the rain was coming too fast for the gutters to collect. It took them coming 3 times to understand what we needed. This place refused to give me back my $900 deposit until I called every single day and complained to their corporate office and Ill attorney general. Terrible customer service that basically kept passing me off to the next . No respect for the customer.

We have just had Gutter Helmet installed and things went very smoothly. The salesman was very professional and offered good suggestions. The two men who were sent to install the gutters, were very good and cleaned up the property well after installation. We await the first rain.

Had gutter helmet replace Gutters April 2021. Went through Costco services. The installers were very friendly, however they did HORRIBLE work. The installers missed centering the gutter nail over multiple areas of the roof overhang splitting multiple rafters. They left MULTIPLE holes in my newly installed gutters. DO NOT HIRE GUTTER HELMET. In January 2021, I e-mailed Gutter Helmet to schedule cleaning of my Gutter Helmet system. When you schedule a cleaning, they don't give you a date. They always say 2-3 weeks, but someone will call in advance to give a date. Not sure why we can't schedule an exact date at the time we request a cleaning. Sometimes it has taken 6 weeks for someone to come to clean the system. This is a free service you get when you are a Gutter Helmet customer.
