We recently bought a Rav4 at Toyota in Tacoma, WA. We were provided with two key fobs upon purchase. We lost one of the keys and to get a replacement, they are charging us $550. A key fob has to be programmed. It's basically am electronic key. Be warned anyone buying a new car, that this is obviously a total rip off and taking advantage of people. You can't get a cheaper deal anywhere else. You can only get it at a dealership for this price.

Several weeks ago I visit Cherokee County Toyota looking to purchase a Toyota Tacoma. I place an order for one and was given a delivery date of 3/7/22. I was also told that Toyota policy is all new purchases must be financed through Toyota. I ask if there is a penalty for early payoff and he says "no". About a week prior to 3/7 I check on the status and was told it would be delivered on 3/9. No problem. On 3/9 I was told the truck did not arrive and "may" be delivered on the following weekend. I let them know that I was now ... read more

Just spoke to very rude Case Manager regarding factory defects with my 2006 IS 250 Lexus. They refuse to support repair of transmission known to malfunction beyond 70K / outside warranty of car purchase.. Mine began losing power at 125K and after paying to rebuild computer at $750 it still not performing due to transmission failures/codes!! They do not stand up to their reputation or their product performance as The #1 Manufacturer Leader!!

Never returned my call after I made four attempts within 2 business days to speak to a case manager regarding my dilemma. I kept getting pushed back about a call back that was supposed to take place yesterday. Does Lexus not take their customers seriously?

Congratulations to the service department for providing the worst customer service experience we've ever come across. We bought a new Tacoma from Toyota of Olympia back in 2016. After our third brake light started leaking last week, we found out that Toyota had issued a service recall for it so we made an appointment right away, which we were assured this would be covered. We dropped it off on Monday morning and were given a 12:30 pick up time. When we still hadn't heard from them by 1:30, I called in and talked to Monica. S... read more

I bought a Toyota 2021 RAV4 in January 2021. On Sept 14 2021 it had approximately 5000 miles. At 8:00PM I was driving on a dark country road and suddenly the headlights shut off. I hit a guardrail before the car stopped. The car flashed multiple messages about headlight failure and told me to contact my dealer. When I contacted my dealer I was told that I should call my insurance company. Toyota had no interest in the fact that the headlight failure caused the accident. My autobody company came nd towed the car to his shop. ... read more

If you buy a Road Hazard Warranty, ALWAYS keep the proof on you. They will tell you you don't have a warranty and you will have to prove them wrong everytime. Stadium Toyota told me I don't have one to cover my flat tire. They made a call to Wesley Chapel Toyota and asked if I had the Warranty and was told no; they asked if the provider was Fidelty and WCT said yes. I get upset and call WCT myself and after an hour on the phone, get the proof that I do have Warranty on Road Hazard and that it is with Assurance. Prior to this... read more

We purchased a new 2020 Toyota Camry 4 Dr. Sedan Hybrid on March 7, 2020 from Balise Toyota Warwick, RI. From the day that we purchased this vehicle, when it is NOT in active usage on the road the vehicle is housed in our two car enclosed garage that utilizes a up-folding motor driven garage door. Thus, the only time that the garage door is open is when the vehicle is made ready to drive someplace. We live in a semi-rural area with lots of trees, open spaces, forests and all kinds of mammals, large and small. During the summ... read more

My wife and I write to register our disappointment with Toyota concerning (1) our 2012 Prius V, and (2) Toyota's response to our car problems. More specifically, our Toyota blew its head gasket at approximately 113,000 miles. This is the first new car that my wife and I have ever purchased and, as I hope you'd agree, that is pretty small mileage for a head gasket to blow on a car engineered and sold after 2000. (And, in fact, the Toyota representative to whom I spoke told me that he would have been disappointed to have his h... read more
