I purchased a 2020 tundra TRD Pro in March of 2020. Despite the fact that I bought it right when covid first started I have made all my $1,271 payments on time. We own a 2010 Toyota Prius with Pearl White paint. Toyota has recalled practically every vehicle with white paint from 2009 and on for paint peeling. We have the EXACT same problem as virtually every other vehicle -- but, for some reason, Toyota has decided NOT to cover this under their recall. We have owned many Toyota's over the years. Last year we bought a Camry - it will likely be our last Toyota because of their not covering an obvious defect.
Toyota should stop leasing or selling the Toyota Mirai Fuel Cell vehicle. The lack of available fuel and infrastructure makes the Mirai a unreliable form of transportation. I asked Toyota to take back this vehicle and relieve me of just 7 remaining payments. I am not asking for a buy back. I have escalated my concerns up to Toyota Executive Management and they basically blew me off. Considering their representative has "Customer First" as part of her signature, I find this quite ironic.
When Lexus offers complimentary repairs for literally melting and cracking dashboard and then refuses to supply dealerships with requisite spare parts, you know you are dealing with the rogue company. The Lexus of North Miami keeps telling me that they have no materials to do that work even after two years of waiting. I will never buy any Lexus vehicles ever again after this experience. Thanks for nothing!
My SUV recently flooded as a result of clogged sunroof lines. Toyota never advised nor warned me about this. I prepaid for maintenance for 5 years and they said they never do it either. We are still fighting to get them to be responsible for this but so far they are only partially helping. They cleared the drains once only for it to happen again right after we got it home.
They were really unprofessional. Called in & received a ton of lash from the interpreter. Not only was impatient with us, the customers, but was also extremely grouchy. The agent that spoke with us kept insisting we were responsible for paying off the car that we voluntarily surrendered, although we were really just scammed by the dealership. The Toyota we purchased was only worth around $14,000, but it came out the door with the price of $25,000+.
Just dealt with Toyota Customer Care and it was a trash experience. My vehicle has a problem with the radio/screen head unit malfunctioning and it is an issue that many customers are experiencing and they refuse to assist with it at all, on a vehicle that is 4 years old. We need more people with this problem to flood their customer service line with it so they have a reactive solution since they refuse to be proactive.
