RecommendedI would recommend Greyhound for the convenience and the price. However, our bus broke down on a highway outside of New York City at 8:15 at night. We had to wait on the bus , with no air conditioning in August, for 45 minutes for a new bus. This was after our bus was delayed for 45 minutes because the bus before us was delayed 90 minutes! The communication by the employees at the bus station and the bus driver was nonexistent. I would use them again only because of the convenience.
Drivers and staff can mistreat you and customer service nor management does anything to resolve the issue or offer compensation. From the plethora of unfavorable online reviews, it is overly apparent this company cares zero about customer satisfaction.
Comfortable for a bus. WiFi and plugs were a big A plus. Driver was really nice and arrived on time.
This is the worst company EVER!! I will never spend another dime on them. They are dirty, nasty attitudes with everyone you seek help from! They are late and have no provisions. I was stuck from 4pm -12:30 am because my 1st Bus didn’t make a connection and then would have had to wait u til 5:30am in Richmond to catch the right bus home. They showed zero concern was given to me, a woman alone at night overnight, in random dangerous depot. Service going to & from Philedephia On the greyhound bus was great! The bathrooms at the philedephia bus terminal were in deplorable conditions! The staff at the terminal were rude,unhelpful & poor customer service!!!
Philadelphia was a very dirty scary place. The customer service person was rude. the security guy and food counter person were very nice. Pittsburg was clean and all were very helpful - felt safe. both bus drivers were very nice.
I dont have an issue with Greyhound really. Just feel like riders arent notified enough of changes, delays or lines to stand in at terminals. I normally leave from Philadelphia and alot of the time Im constantly checking Im in the right line because Im not notified & the departure boards arent updated.
Don't do it it sucks, you will not to your destination on on time
