Grace is a Perfect Name for this Restaurant – This beautifully decorated restaurant captures you as soon as you set foot into this place. It's warm and inviting, and the service was top notch. The food is well designed and unique. The flavors of the food is so rich and clean. Neal Fraser is an accomplished chef and deserves many kudos for making this restaurant such a fantastic dining experience. I had an appetizer there that I still think about on a daily basis. Have fun at this restaurant....you'll enjoy it.
Quality food – We enjoyed a very nice dinner at Grace last night. The Chef is very talented and made a fantastic Lobster in Sous Vide.
A fine effort – If you do not eat here you are missing out on a rich dinning experience. I would expect any out of towners to try what can only be described as a Hollywood must stop
Spotty service, cheek-by-jowl with the next table – We were really looking forward to eating at Grace, it was a shame that the experience didn't live up to our expectations. Two main gripes. Firstly, when you're seated at a table for two, you are closer to the person at the next table than you are to your dining companion. Wonderful Flavors – Three of us dined at Grace a week ago. We were seated within 10 minutes of our 9:00 reservation. We split 3 appetizers and 2 entrees between us, a bottle of San Pelligrino, and one dessert - total $150 before tip. What great people run this place! – I was dissapointed one evening about service, and Grace called the next a.m. to aplogize and offer a free evening (I hadn't even been that vocal). I sugested we donate the free meal to an auction aiding a homeless charity, they suggested we do both. The charity auction was a success, and after the other dinner was not used Grace called and offered to make the charity the beneficiary of a tasting dinner they were doing for Grace Wine. Listening Helps – I went to Grace this past Sunday night and had a superb experience! Whereas people say the service was spotty, I say the service was magnificient. Our server was quite knowledgeable and even mentioned that he was the newest in the crew. If Grace is going to take people's opinions and better their restaurant then get ready for a marvelous time. Because the food is incredible (halibut, wild boar, duo of beef) and the service refreshing. A must visit!
Goodness Gracious Me – Great food, which goes without saying when Neil Fraser's at the helm. The place is sophisticated and I found the service good. The waitress noticed my girlfriend was not drinking her cocktail so came over and asked whether she wanted another one. Nice touch.
Service Please – This place is incredible in every area except service. I can see where previous reviewers were not happy with the food seasoning. But all in all it's a great restaurant. If only they would get some better servers. True, i have only been here twice but both times if felt as though the servers were sleepwalking. The food is delicious, the wine list extraordinary, and the desserts wonderful. All i ask is for a truly great server to warrant the prices you pay.
