Loved the foie gras! – Best foie we've had. All of the food was amazing. Can't wait to go back. Huge portions - would almost recommend sharing courses. The only thing that took us back was our server who talked down about the place! What a silly thing to do. Even though he wasn't all that impressed - we were. Wine guy was really great.

Becoming an L.A. institution! – I've eaten at Grace a number of times and it's always great. Went on a recent Friday night and had great service at the bar while we waited for our table. The bartender helped me choose a wine by the glass and made my girlfriend a most delicious cocktail, "The Orange Blossom Special". When we got to our table after a short wait(it was packed) the night just got better and better. I had a special appetizer of lobster cavatelli that just blew my mind it was so good. I didn't think my entree coul... read more

Really?? – It took me months to get into Grace. Months. I thought about calling "Make A Wish" and feigning a disease. When a business dinner got scheduled there, I was beatific. I wanted to love it, I did. I walked in, it was lovely, but to be frank and admittedly jaded, a lot of upscale restaurants are beautifully designed. It's nice but it's not extraordinary. Anyway, I wasn't there for the lamps -- I'm passionate about good chefs and what they can do. Here's the sad thing: I can't even tell you what I had. That's what a y... read more

One of the best in L.A. – Just had our wedding-anniversary meal there last night and couldn't have been happier. The food was excellent, the service top-notch and the ambience right up there, too. Be prepared to crack open the wallet as it is a higher-end menu, price-wise. But it's worth the money for a special-occasion meal. Really enjoyable.

a very nice evening with friends – Grace simply provided for a wonderful evening with friends with excellent food and drink. our server, angela, was casual, professional, and attentive but not overbearing. kudos to the wine sommelier (we brought a bottle but he selected a beautiful bordeaux and dessert wine for our thirsty crowd..only three of us were drinking). the food presentations were beautiful and the cooking exquisite. the pace of the service was perfect...not too fast, not too slow. the only complaint I would have is ... read more

Pretentious, mediocre and overpriced – Some restaurants crave consistency. Grace achieves it. We started by waiting half an hour for our table, after our 8:15 reservation, to be taken to a table that was available the entire time. Apparently they were waiting for someone more important. Service was slow and inconsistent. The food was mediocre. The appetizers were very rich, and with flavors that didnt blend well. My braised pork loin was fatty and uninteresting. The fish was no better. We passed on dessert. It was better lea... read more

Tantalizing New American cuisine attracts an upscale crowd to this chic Beverly Boulevard eatery. – The Scene A study in warm brown and green earth tones, lounge and restaurant alike are tastefully stylish and buzz with the din of industry braggadocio, gossiping girlfriends and couples flirting in not-so-quiet voices. Friendly servers impart extensive menu and wine list knowledge. The Food Chef Neal Fraser (Deep and Rix) infuses New American comfort food with unusual sauces and glitzy sides. Starters satiate without spoiling... read more

quality food and service – The interior of the restaurant is just dark enough to be comfortable, and the seating along the wall isn't nearly as cramped as it might at first seem. Grace is well decorated, although a bit on the chilly side. The menu is small and manageable, with a number of interesting dishes. When I went, there were a couple of vegetarian entrees. Our service was prompt, friendly, and unobtrusive. My John Dory was good, but a bit tougher than I expected. My friend's tempeh dish was not bland at all, thank goo... read more

intheindustry – I have gone into Grace about a dozen times. Every time I sit at the dinner tables, I have a wonderful experience and cannot wait to go back. The few times I have sat at the bar, my service is so sub-par. I was in last night and sat at the bar, mind you, we were the only ones at the bar. Our bartender couldn't have been more removed from enhancing our experience. Never asked how anything was, never offered another drink, never cracked a smile, kept our empty plates in front of us for an extended time, never se... read more
