Texas is the second-largest state in the United States. It covers more than 268,600 square miles. Spain was the first European power to lay claim to Texas and the state also flew the flags of France and Mexico before gaining its independence in 1836. Texas borders Mexico along the Rio Grande and embraces mountain ranges and canyons to the west; lakes, plantations and pine forests to the east; plains to the north; citrus groves, Gulf of Mexico beaches and low-lying alluvial plains to the south; and rolling hill country and cl... read more

I’m concerned with his connection to Empowering Texans. He has been hired by the people to serve the people not an elitist group. I’m very concerned about his lack of understanding or desire to recognize and support public schools. This issue will drive my votes in November. Until this issue is reconciled I will vote for the man not for the party.
You are doing a poor job of taking care of teachers and retired teachers. Shame on you.

However, the state is willing to shell out MILLIONS of dollars to Pearson and ETS to design and administer state assessments, as well as companies like Istation, which receive highly lucrative contracts that peddle ineffective online instruction in lieu of attracti... read more
I voted for you due to your idea that Pre K was an important issue. You kept it for one year and then dropped the issue. You are also not supporting the teachers or the students as I expected you would. I am very disappointed in you. For that reason I will #blockvote.
Please support TRS and TRS affordable insurance !
You need no stars after your despicable treatment of the retired teachers in your state who dedicated their lives to our children. You have no morals if the plight of teachers means so little to you. I honestly don't see how anyone with a common sense of decency could even consider voting for you at this point. As a Christian, I will work to elect kind, caring legislators in the coming election cycle.
This governor cares very little for children in public education or for retired teachers.
It is time to focus on our students and support our public schools in Texas or we are all doomed. Fork over the funds for our future Governor.
I am a teacher in a rural distric that is stuggling to stay afloat. I would like for you to encourage the legislators to do their job and come up with the funding our children deserve.
