Texas borders Mexico along the Rio Grande and embraces mountain ranges and canyons to the west; lakes, plantations and pine forests to the east; plains to the north; citrus groves, Gulf of Mexico beaches and low-lying alluvial plains to the south; and rolling hill country and cl... read more

Your anti public education efforts will ultimately fail. I don’t understand why you would try to destroy the very institution that makes this country the greatest in the world.

The Governor has neglected to support public education in favor of ridiculous bathroom bills, fake reform of property taxes, and ill conceived support for high stakes testing to the tune of billions of dollars. Some common sense and true care for all the children of Texas would be VERY much appreciated. #SupportTexasPublicEducation

Never, EVER, did I see this coming when I signed on to teach in Texas in 1983. I BELIEVED the promise of a pension and AFFORDABLE healthcare then AND when I signed the paperwork to retire in 2013. This is ha... read more

I am so disgusted with you and Dan Patrick and the way you have treated public schools. Teachers, current and retired, have devoted tireless hours to educate the children of the great state of Texas. Do what is right for our children and teachers!! We are fed up with your disrespect, so I hope you have enjoyed your stay because we are evicting you!! I don’t know how you can sleep at night knowing what you are doing to hard working people is wrong. Disgusting!! #blockvote
