You value lining you and your cronies pockets more than you value children and the future of Texas. By failing to fund our schools and stealing money from the property taxes that are supposed to go to schools by dumping it in the general fund you are dooming Texas. Employers want an educated capable workforce, we will not be competitive in the near future due to your choices. One star is too good a rating for you.

This is one star too many for this man. He and his friends are destroying Public Education in Texas. I am a retired teacher. My pension is threatened, and my healthcare has been decimated. I kept my promise to serve Texas children (39 years). Why can’t the politicians keep their part of the agreement, too? How could you, Governor, because I’m not one of your rich cronies, you don’t need to be concerned? At least my students thanked me for my service, but it’s little consolation when I’m old, sick, and too poor to get medical... read more

Hate to give Greg such a low rating! I went to Ducanville High School with Greg Abbott - Class of 1975. I’m rating him so low because of his neglect of public education issues and his failure to address the issues with Texas retired teachers and the TRS system. I won’t be voting for him again! I am block voting! Sorry Greg! Step up your game if you want our vote.

Governor Greg Abbott is a horrible governor and was a horrible Attorney General. As AG, his office stole from children and single parents for whom he was supposed to protect. The bureaucratic red tape was horrible, and now he and his buddy Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick have waged war on public education, active and retired teachers, and the children of this state that he claims to love. Abbott, who himself is a product of public school education, has stolen from teachers, stolen from retired teachers, and from students. Give school e... read more
