I am a retired teacher! Support our healthcare- support our pension. I worked for 32 years in Texas schools. The legislature needs to keep promises made to teachers. Fund public schools. No vouchers. Special session!

What has been done to education is a crime. It occurs to me the politicians are not interested in an educated populous, only a labor force. Our future generations are treated as just another commodity for the elite

I am a public school teacher of 30 years. The lack of support for public education and the educators, both current and retired, who fight for our kids every day is unimaginable. My vote will be for public education, and this candidate will not be the one receiving it.

I agree that there should be an option to give 0 stars because even one star is being too nice. I AM a public school teacher who is having serious debates about whether or not leaving education would be best. All of this conflict is caused by whether or not I can afford to be a teacher. I fund my own classroom into the 1000's of dollars just so my students have a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom to come in to each day and learn.
