The funding for our education system has been severely overlooked. There is NO reason a student should have to go without a desk or a chair. There is NO reason a teacher should have to pay out of pocket for basic classroom necessities. The health insurance teachers get is a joke, and the retired teachers have it even worse. The buildings are falling down around the students and teachers but there is no money to fix them. Start funding our schools and putting our kids first!

I wish I could rate your office with zero stars. I am a public school teacher and the way your office is attempting to privatize public education by underfunding our schools is a disgrace. Watch out Governor Abbott and Lt. Governor- the teachers are coming for ya!

Has never been good at any job but manages to keep moving up the political ladder through attrition. Gave no leadership to the legislature. Has failed to help Houston and the Gulf Coast recover from hurricane. Tries to motivate base through fear of boogey man "George Soros" instead of uniting people and showing real leadership. Could have been the greatest advocate for the disabled. Instead, he is their greatest adversary.

Abbott, Patrick, and Empower Texans are on a mission to destroy public education and the people who serve the state's children. Disgraceful!!

Greg Abbott has attacked school children and teachers through his policy positions, influenced by money flowing from special interest groups.
