This is related to the service department/advisor. I learned my Winnebago Motorhome had a recall. I called General RV Wixom, Mi. and I was given an appointment three weeks out from my call. Last Friday I took the day off, drove there from Lansing to learn the part for the recall was never ordered, despite me providing the advisor (Cyndye) all of the info on the recall. RecommendedWe would definitely recommend General RV. Micki, Troy, and Mark made our experience very satisfying. If you are looking for honesty, compassion, loyalty, or being treated like you are important and a priority, stay far away from this circus. Smoke and mirrors, it's all an illusion! Once they get your money, and you drive off that lot, you become less than zero to them! Do yourself a favor go to local small dealerships! Keep the money in little RV dealers, at the end of the day, they will appreciate you and your purchase and take care of you. General RV, only cares about their bottom line not their customers

Buyer beware!!! Horrible customer service...Lies,Lies and more Lies.. I spoke with SIX different people...ranging from management to parts and service. Everyone of them said they would call me back and not one of them did. After weeks of trying to schedule for repairs of factory defects our brand new 2021 camper was given back to us in worse shape than before. My stovetop is covered in dripped epoxy glue and the outside of our camper is covered in a sticky powder. Their service department takes zero pride in their work. They... read more

They sound great when making a purchase but once you need to use your warranties or service department, you see a different side. Service department is a joke.

We’ve made 3 phone calls to service with no return call. The 1st time they said there was no record of our call. Now my husband has called twice more today to no avail. We probably would not go to them again because they’re not very helpful when we’ve had questions or need service.

RecommendedOn our way to da U.P. we blew a tire out on our 40 ft. Forest River XLR toyhauler. As luck would have it, we were only 2 miles from the Birch Run exit. I called General RV service dept. and was able to get squeezed into their schedule. Megan and the service technicians was absolutely amazing, got us back on the road in less than 3 hours. Thank you General RV for saving our vacation!

We bought a new fifth wheel and have regretted it from the beginning! The salesman was friendly but the service department is terrible! They are rude, not helpful, and the communication has been terrible. Would not recommend! Look at other dealerships before you fall into their trap! Never again!
