My husband and I just returned from our 9 day trip to Thailand. Thank you Gate 1 for making this trip the best experience ever. Thailand is amazing, hotels were excellent, and our tour guy "Jumbo" was AMAZING! It was our first trip with Gate 1, but not the last one. Our trip was BEYOND our expectations. Thank you!
We did the 9 day Venice-Florence-Rome tour and thought it was amazing! We were pleasantly surprised as to how professional the agency was in setting this up. 10 Day affordable Italy with Pompeii Our trip was Awesome!! The itinerary was excellent and well constructed to show us a well-rounded tour of many Italian cities..All rich in history..The food was good and so were the hotels. Martin is a excellent tour guide and the local guides in Pompeii ,Rome,Florence &Venice were very nice too, as well the Bus drivers.. I just recently retired from the military after 33 years of service and as a token of my appreciation to my amazing wife I booked us a 8 day Italy tour as she had always wanted to go to Italy. I booked the tour online in Sept 15 through the Gate 1 website which was pretty easy to do. Once I was paid in full all the arrangements were made to include the airline tickets and attaching my FF number to it with the exception of picking the seats. Just returned back from the 9-Day Thailand tour and had the most AMAZING time! My family and I travel a lot, but this was our farthest trip from home and our first on a guided tour. I'll start by saying Thailand has the sweetest, most hospitable people. My first tour experience with Gate 1 Travel was out of this world! Came back from the 8 day Dubai and Abu Dhabi tour and we just loved it! Just returned from the 9 day Italy tour. I can not say enough fantastic things! I never dreamed of seeing as much as we did or of meeting the fantastic people! I instantly fell in love with our tour guide, Anna. She made an effort to connect with each one of us everyday. The local guides we're incredibly knowledgable and friendly. Be prepared to tip (driver, main guide, local guides, etc) because they sure do earn it! Thank you Gate1 and Anna for a trip of a lifetime! My husband and I can't wait to book our next one!
My friend & I just returned from Iceland with Gate 1. They were fantastic from collecting the group at the airport, to tours to dropping us off. Olle, Erling, Gugga G and Fraeka were amazing guides & people. Their personalities and ability to make 100 exhausted tourists laugh after a 24+ hour day made the trip wonderful! Iceland really is a friendly country! I'll use Gate 1 again! (Thanks again, Gugga!)
