Last day of 7 in Ecuador! This trip was INCREDIBLE & the price UNBELIEVABLE. We were treated like kings & queens for such an affordable price. The hotels were all unique & beautiful. Our tour guide Wilson was the best, always going above & beyond for us. Don't miss Ecuador.
We just completed our second Gate 1 trip. We have had two absolutely perfect trips with Gate 1. We just completed the 10 day Germany, Austria, and Switzerland tour. Everything went according to plan, and we were extremely pleased with all accommodations and the itinerary. The food was wonderful. Our tour guide, Nino, was amazing. He went out of his way to find my son's lost iPod after the trip and mailed it to us this week from his home in England. I was blown away by his kind gesture. Thanks so much Gate 1 and Nino!
I took the 10-day Greek Islander trip last April and could not have been happier! Everything went flawlessly, even when the streets of Athens were shut down on our way to the airport. The guides were friendly and helpful, and I can't wait to go back to Greece again, hopefully with Gate1
Bait and switch hotel from a 4-5 star to an arguably 2-3 star in Beijing that had fewer amenities and was cheaper for them. Not enough time between flight from U.S. to Shanghai so we had to figure out on our own, in China, how to make changes to get to Shanghai then spent all evening waiting for ride to dump airport hotel overnight. Back in Beijing the cheap hotel that was supposed to be non-smoking had lingering smoke in first room and switch to another room didn't help when they smoke in hall, stairwell and nearby rooms. 5 days to Rome and Naples with my beautiful wife was exactly what we needed. The trip was exactly as advertised! !
Booked a trip to Italy and my wife became ill. We had purchased trip ins. and called to cancel or reschedule. Gate 1 does not handle cancellations you need to call travel was the response I got from Gate1. Called the ins. filled out the forms, had our doctor do the same and no refund. The ins. is a scam and I would not recommend Gate 1! It has been an expensive and frustrating experience.
8 days in Israel just isn't enough time. Gate 1 and and our tour guide Lenor Ilan were amazing I give him more like 100 stars. Can't wait to take our next trip with Gate 1.
