GREAT COMPANY!
Just returned from the Gate 1 Discovery Tour of the Serengeti and Beyond. This first safari covered all my safari dreams and more. Well done - the tour guides were awesome and the sights we saw were unbelievable. Nothing compares to the 3 nights staying in an intimate tented camp right in the heart of the Serengeti. First impressions mean everything! I just got off ( more like hung up) the phone with a representative David ext. 1159. RUDEST experience ever! I'm not familiar with @Gate1Travel and wanted to get a better understanding of the company. For all I know @Gate1Travel could be a scam company. I was refer to Gate 1 Travel by a customer at my job who knew I was interested in traveling to Cuba. David at ext 1159 was yelling at me during entire phone call. Had an unbelievable time on the 8 day southwest US National Parks tour! Experienced the incredible south rim of the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon, and Zion and flew home from Vegas. What a trip! Our tour guide, Karen, was wonderful and I give a lot of credit to our driver, Jerry, for getting us from state to state through the winding roads of some steep mountains. It was a truly AWESOME experience. This was my first trip with Gate 1 and hope it's the first of many. Thanks for a wonderful trip!
We have completed 7 trips with Gate 1. All of the trips have been wonderful and full of excellent service. We tried another company and were not happy with the tour. It was back to Gate 1 and the excellent service from booking the trip, getting picked up at the destination, tour, guides, food, activities and the friendly staff that is at your beckon call. We have definitely "Seen the world for Less" in style. Love Gate 1
Still sitting on a boat in God knows where in Germany. Nothing about this trip has been as advertised. Food is terrible, the only AC that works is the AC is our room which is not the room we reserved. Boat is at least 10 years old and shows with the bugs. We see other boats on this river and they are beautiful. Nothing that we were told about this trip is true. We just returned from our trip to Ireland. Just one word,Awesomeness!! Our tour guide Doug Bryan was just fantastic, not to mention our coach driver Martin Smith was the ultimate "steerologist" was great!
Very well thought out and every detail planned. Even when AirFrance went on strike and our return flight cancelled at the last momont they got us rebooked on a better return flight home. And our tour guide Uri Mor was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. Highly recommend
