We have traveled with Gate1 on four different occasions and have referred many friends to Gate1 as well all of whom shared an equally good time. HOWEVER on a recent Rhine River cruise it was the trip from hell. A disaster in every sense of the word. After spending two delightful days in Lucerne we were to board the Sound of Music in Basel. We recently did the 10 day affordable China trip. Just got back 2 days ago. There are not enough "likes" for us on this vacation. Our tour guide, Annie was simply amazing. We had some serious challenges arise with the typhoon that came in to Shanghai and I just cannot say enough about how Annie & Gate 1 handled the situation. It was an absolutely amazing vacation. I Just returned last week from a 16 day Gate 1 tour of Italy with my husband and 2 kids ages 23 and 25. The tour included stays in Como, Venice, Tuscany, Sorrento and Rome. This tour exceeded all expectations! We absolutely loved our tour guide, Nicoletta and all of the hotels were fantastic! We took Gate 1’s 12 Day Istanbul & Athens with 6 Day Aegean Cruise in June. Our trip was wonderful and I was very impressed with Gate 1's service. From the first, arriving in Istanbul to when we were dropped off in Athens to leave, everything was coordinated and went very smoothly.
