Best trip I ever took .. 11 days in Italy. I am still friends with my tour guide to this day .
Won’t use them again they are AWFUL and I travel a lot. Will only use goahead tours from now on
My daughter and I recently experienced Vietnam in the most wonderful way. We were part of a small group put together by Gate One Travel and were guided by a great young man by the name of Tho, or Tommy. He worked tirelessly to make sure our limited 12 day time frame was maximized. The hotel rooms on our trip to Paris & Barcelona were tiny, the beds were more like cots, the hotels didn’t even offer free water and were in seedy locations. I will never use Gate 1 Travel again. You definitely get what you pay for.

Just returned from a 6-day Iceland Northern Lights Pursuit, South Shore and Golden Circle Tour. My daughter and I were very impressed with our tour guide Gugga and the daily itinerary for the tour. The hotels chosen (Stracta Hella and Fosshotel) were very nice and clean; and the meals provided were outstanding. We loved it so much that we would not hesitate to book another escorted tour with Gate 1 Travel. Thank you for making our 1st trip to Iceland so memorable! I highly recommend Gate 1 Travel.
I have taken two trips with Gate One and have had flight issues both times. The first trip was guided and the problem was mechanical in nature. No other plane, had to fly one in from Mexico, we were in Quito. The airline took responsibility of its own and issued credits for the flight. The second trip was to Australia and was an independent trip. The airline was China Eastern. The time in Australia was wonderful.
