We have had Frontier for over 6 years (previously *******). Since they have been Frontier, we have had terrible customer service. We have had misc. charges on our account. When we call regarding an issue, we are told that the issue is resolves, when in fact it wasn't. Each time we call regarding an issue, we have to call multiple times, in order to get it resolved. We have even been disconnected by customer service representatives, so that they do not have to handle our concern. We have literally been lied to by multiple cus... read more

Deplorable service and company. I had to leave a one star because zero isn't an option. I have had the misfortune of having to be a Frontier costumer for the past 2 yrs; our community is surrounded by trees and the only service available to us is Frontier. To say my time as a costumer has been a living hell is an understatement. They have zero customer service, they lie to you all the time, make excuses for their mistakes, and never help you. I have had Frontier internet services for over 3 years. I made the unfortunate mistake of upgrading to the high speed that they offered. I was quoted a price of $60 per month, then received a confirmation email that quoted $74 per month + taxes and fees. I called customer service to tell them I would keep what I had and that I was not interested in upgrading because of the cost. Terrible customer service. ask for supervisor and put on hold for Long Long Long time and supervisor never pick up, good luck to cancel service the department is never open .

I’ve had frontier for years now. Ive called many times asking for faster speed. They are unable to help me because of our location. (Chili,NY) So I’m left with 6 mbps. When I run the test it says 1 mbps?!!! They have insisted that I need to purchase another modem??? Tonight, I have sat here for four hours trying to watch a two hour movie. All other devices in the house are turned off. This is ridiculous and I do NOT recommend frontier.

So we haven’t had internet for 4 days since a local outage that was supposedly “repaired”. We’ve probably spent the better part of 3 hours on the phone with Frontier troubleshooting (2/3 was wait time) and even had a new modem sent out, all to no avail. Needless to say, when we requested a tech to come out, the earliest apt they would provide was almost 2 weeks out, and they refused to budge on anything else, so we told them we would need to cancel since we we work from home and another company agreed to come out within 48 h... read more

Similar experience as many of the other people on this thread. Have tried for 2 years to get FIOS installed. They put the cable at the end of our driveway ready to install, but when they showed up, they said that there was not capacity at the hub. A short while later, we had to spend hours on the phone to convince that, yes, in fact we do have FIOS available, and not just copper service as it showed in their system. I vote for MINUS 10 stars too! I had Frontier 500/500 installed about 7 weeks ago in Snohomish county to replace *******. After numerous calls, two tech support visits and two routers, I was getting no faster than 130/130. The second tech measured 190/190 coming into the router so we figured their router was at fault. I installed a third party router and improved it to 199/200. I sent back their router and asked that $10.00 lease fee be stricken off. They refused to remove the lease fee even though I am not using their route... read more
