Called yesterday to report my DSL not working; waited 28 min. to talk to someone. Having to go through all the questions, checking the modem, and talking to someone whom I could hardly understand; he told me he would call back to let me know what was going on. No call. the next day I call again, talked to Tammy (*****) after waiting another half hour, I told her I called yesterday, went through all the questions, ect. yesterday. This is the worst run company that I have ever experienced. From the simple things like when I had to move my service within my own city, the customer service rep didn't know how to help me with the simple switch. When I moved a second time, I called and waited over 45 minutes to get somoene and finally gave up. I got fed up and then called ******** though when I finally canceled my service, they first refused to port my number to ********, then I had to call Frontier to get them to port my number (another half hour wasted).... read more

Worst customer service ever. Spend hours on the phone when THEIR equipment fails and takes 6 days to get a technician out and then does not show up in a 4 hour window. They do not communicate. It was horrible before when it was Verizon and hot even worse when Frontier bought them and rates have almost doubled. Ridiculously poor customer service.

Dear BBB, Why do you not give us the ability to do ZERO stars? I can certainly understand Frontier's "F" rating with the BBB. They have given me so many reasons to complain. Not calling back when promised (twice). No notification when they cancelled the installation appointment (cost me 8 hours at work). Promises, promises (25Mbps speed promised, only can deliver 6, if they EVER get here to install). Just called to cancel my service with frontier. I wanted it cancelled on the 31st of this month and they said I could not cancel until the 14th of the next month. I already have a new service starting on the 31st. Why would I want to pay for 2 services. THEY JUST WANT TO KEEP MY MONEY. dO NOT SIGN UP FOR FRONTIER. THEY ARE A RIP OFF.

Beware! If you disconnect your service a day or 2 after it bills they will still charge you a full month! They will not prorate services and will also charge a disconnect fee. WHO DOES THAT? It does not say anything on the bill about no proration, nor the disconnect fee. Bad business practices and sub par service.

Called to cancel my service at the beginning of July, was told they could only cancel a maximum of two weeks before the next billing cycle. Called again two weeks before to cancel and was told my cancellation would be scheduled before the next billing occurred and that autopay was cancelled (and got e-mail confirmation of this). Second representative had never heard of any rule preventing cancellation a certain amount of time away from the next billing cycle, so maybe the company is having their reps provide false informatio... read more

Company is useless! Service is out more than it is on, I have an autistic son who depends on the internet for a majority of his needs! He will sit and turn the computer off and back on repeatedly because he doesn’t understand why it isn’t working! Why do we pay so much money for a service that you can’t use half the time. And they refuse to credit my account for time I didn’t get service, sure wish I had another option for internet services

Frontier was easily the worst company I have ever sought services from. First, I was not allowed to purchase my own equipment or set it up myself. So I paid to rent theirs each month and for the set up service. Connection was okay for about a month, then my internet was constantly going in and out. Techs needed to be dispatched to my house once a month. I would have to wait days on end without connection because techs were not available.
