I called to cancel my internet through Frontier 1 day into my next months billing cycle and was charged for the full month. Be wary of they’re supposed billing cycle times.

If 0 stars was an option, that's what I would choose. This is the worst company that I've ever dealt with. They lie, postpone and make excuses for every issue. Sometimes we go days without internet. If you call in to customer service, you can expect a wait time of 30 minutes to an hour before you speak to a person. If you can convince them to send out technician, it takes a week to get an appointment. In my previous experiences, the tech only fixes the problem 50% of the time. Frontier has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I had an install scheduled and no one showed up for 7 hours. I never received a call or notification of the issue. Ultimately when I called they conveniently said mt appointment had been changed to a week later. They could not provide any information on who or why it was changed. They had no interest in honoring my original appointment I made two weeks prior. i cancelled my entire install and choose not to do business with Frontier Communications.

So I moved out of my apartment and was cancelling all of my services. I had Frontier as my internet provider. I called them to cancel my internet and today I followed up with the online chats. They told me they're cancelling my services on August and are billing me the ENTIRE MONTH OF JULY. Even though I don't live there anymore. "Jenybee" told me Frontier is still going to bill me and they aren't going to refund me.

Do yourself a favor and stay away! I had their service for over a year and then the DSL stopped working. I was on the phone with them every few days for a MONTH! Finally they send someone over and they said between the hours of 11am-3pm, of course they don't show up! I then call customer service to cancel my service and then they disconnect the phone call! I had to call them again and the biggest slap in the face is I have to pay 9.99 to CANCEL the service! They have lost my business for life, if I ran my business like this ... read more

My ISP Frontier received a $10 million grant to upgrade broadband. I just got off the phone with Frontier. I pay $44.99 per month for a measly 6 Mbps service. I often drop service and sometimes have no service. When I do my speeds are usually around 2 Mbps. Might as well go back to dialup. Frontier told me my provisioned speed is 3.7 and I can expect to receive 50-100% of the provisioned speed. I have had consistently poor service from Frontier. They charge me for speeds the Techs tell I can't possibly get, my internet is maddeningly slow, they sent a tech out who said he changed my jack and modem and he did NOT and then charged me $91. It is highway robbery what they get away with where our choices are so limited. All in all? They suck.

**** R's 6/20/19 review says it all!!! We have experienced the exact same scenario. There is no resolution for what seems to be a common Frontier practice: charging customers for unreturned equipment, confirming the equipment was indeed returned and assuring they will zero out the balance, and yet continue monthly to attempt to invoice me for unreturned equipment. I called to downgrade my landline service as it seemed crazy to pay $70 a month to have a land line necessary. I downgraded and thought it was taken care of. NOPE. I got a bill the next month for the same amount. I called to Frontier to find out what happened; I was told the change did not take place because a third party verification did not take place.
