Called Frontier Communications to check to see if they could install internet service at my home which is new construction, two of my neighbors have the service already. The customer service rep said I will have to check with engineering/tech to determine is they can install and it may take up to a day, I said fine call me back when you have an answer. I ordered the service last week (cable, phone, and internet). Dish scheduled to come Monday afternoon, as well as phone and internet. Dish arrive in time and was pleasant. Phone and internet never arrived, nor did they call. I called them at 5:20pm and they gave an excuse as to why they couldn't make it but said they'd be out on Tuesday. Frontier provides, without a doubt, the worst customer experience. We live in the country and it is currently the only wireless provider available to us. We have not had consistent wifi in over a year. Every 3-4 months our wifi stops working, we have to go through the same troubleshooting steps - which take up to an HOUR to perform. I had services installed Friday October 4 the very next day I had technical issues I spent over 90 minutes on the phone with them trying to fix it to no avail. Finally they say they will send a technician on Monday. So 2 days with no service! I call on Monday because I haven’t heard from them and didn’t know what time I need to be home. I was a customer of Frontier in Illinois for phone and internet service for 20 years since they bought out service in my area from *******. A few years ago I dropped my phone and only had internet. I always paid my bill automatically from a credit card, so my account was always current. On 6/5/2019 I moved to Florida. I contacted Frontier on the previous day to cancel my service. Frontier does not abide by their terms. I was billed for the entire month of September although they only provided service for the first 4 days. I asked for my bill to be prorated. They said they didn't prorate. I then asked them to continue their service through the end of the month since that is what I paid, I was told they already disconnected it. Zero rating. I had service and it was bad internet so I switched to another company that bought out my contract. I called three times to pay the last bill and they kept saying it would be auto billed so I waited. I received a bill in the mail and called again waited on hold for over 20 min each time I called and paid my bill. I agree with every persons review! One star is To many they don’t deserve that!! I have been without internet for 2 weeks and they set up 10/2 between 9-1 to have the tech there to fix the internet. 4 text messages were received with the last one stating “ good news “ the tech is there to fix the problem. Frontier gaves us near-perfect service for almost two decades, then our internet went down last November. It was out for 13 days while we waited for a technician. THIRTEEN DAYS waiting for service. We were never refunded for the internet we paid for but weren't receiving, and it's inconceivable to me that anyone waits more than a day or two for service to be restored.
