They always overcharge their customers. A lot misleading information on bills. We've been using their service over a year and we feel like this company fools us with poor internet service, even though we pay over $80 a month. But before you get their service, they promise you pay around $45. We also live in New York and we pay $40 for ******* **** and it's a perfect service. We complained about their service so many times. It seems like they don't care about it.

This company will charge you the first month of services bar none. I signed on as I was told we would have faster speeds and it was not the truth. Slowest internet since dial-up and after 3 days of service my wife and I canceled services. A week later they’re telling me I’m still on the hook to pay for all of the first month because it’s in the Terms and Conditions section with our bill. Company Lied. Connect Customer service.. For 100, no need for a technician to come. Only 9.99 activation fee. Disconnect Customer service, you have to pay $75 for a technician connection that did not happen. You pay $9.99 for a router they never sent and you never had. Bad cusotmer service.. Lying dishonest

If there is a zero star I would choose that instead. Why? Frontier rip off people's money. They promised by pro-rate my bill, but they charged me a regular rate plus a late fee after I moved to my new resident two months. They send me a letter notify that my status is on a verge of debt collection and bad credit. I had to pay $63.99 on 04/04/20 to clear my issue. I am very upset and feel that this Frontier business practice lie and force customer to pay in full. 

Business response:

Frontier told me that they no longer use the pro-rate option but only regular price rate for what you sign up for internet service. That is not what they told me on the telephone during the time I call them and request to cancel my internet service. They closed my account and cut off internet service on 02/12/2020. And bill me full amount plus a late fee on 04/05/2020. It is a rip off way during Covid-19 crisis when every one struggle to make it through.

I am not sure if its the company or if they only hire stupid people. These people don't know there left foot from their right. Cant connect you to anyone, always hang up on you after waiting for a transfer. Should be called wasting time communications since that is all they do

For three months now, I have attempted to have my bill corrected. Frontier would correct one item and then change another unrelated item to a higher price. I was told to pay my monthly charge minus a $20 credit Frontier was issuing to me. Frontier instructed me on what amount to pay. I paid that amount. The credit was never issued and I was charged $9 for not paying my bill in full. -1 stars. Absolutely terrible. Sad part, they don't care.

First, if you're reading this and are currently an internet customer with this farce of a business, download a speed checker. I was paying for the 50 package and getting the 25 package. My average maximum speed was below 30. My internet kept going down every month and no one seemed to know why, but then a tech said maybe I'd do better with a lower package. I have this company in Illinois right now and it is the absolute WORST. If you can get other internet or phone providers DO IT. This company will scam and lie and steal in order to make its money. I have only had them for 6 months and my bill has been wrong for 5 of those. I spent NO JOKE 6 HOURS on the phone trying to get it fixed, talked to several very rude reps and some rude supervisors. -0 for a star rating. My father in law passed and hasn't used their service for over 3 months because he was hospitalized and in a coma. They even confirmed that he hadn't used their service in 3 months but they are still going to bill him/us even though. They refuse to give a refund even after closing the account....They are heartless.
