Had Frontier installed and only used it for 4 days and now they are trying to charge me for a $75 install fee and also 1 month of service that was not used? We were promised a small bill, told not to pay our March bill because we would have all of these credits. Then we receive our April bill and it's for $400 way over the promised price. Told we would be tax exempt. Now I am being told that we owe $600. The bills of $120 a month we were promised are well over $200. Also still not tax exempt, I was told it was my fault...... WOW. Please do not get Frontier Internet, especially if you have young children. I got internet 2 and a half years ago. I waited on the internet guy 5 hours over my given time frame which I knew was going to happen ( most internet places do this). When he finally got here, I was very welcoming and kind to a very grumpy, upset middle-aged man. I instantly felt uneasy and knew something wasn't right. Horrible customer service. False advertising issues. I've been waiting over 4 months for a so called promotion. It still haven't materialized. Every time I call I get a different date that I should receive the promotion. It's almost May an still I wait for nothing apparently. I requested to talk to a supervisor several times, and again I was given different answers. The supervisor just left, or we have to put in a claim ticket for the supervisor to call me back in 24 hours. Needless to say, no one has called me back.
I've signed up for new internet service on 2020/04/17 and a technician who came out told me that he couldn't start my internet due to company's main system failure. The main service center couldn't start new service activation due to some technical difficulty so he explained how to install cable lines outside as well as inside my house. We called to have our service turned off because we were moving to an area they did not service. They turned off our service 2 weeks early. We called and to turn it back on, they said we had be set up as a new acct. Service date would be a week out and cost a reinstall fee. Since we were moving, we said forget it. Then we got our last bill and it was for the whole month, including the two weeks we were turned off.
Charged $200 for unreturned equipment when I have a confirmation text that they received it. That was after six phone calls trying to get the box to ship the equipment back in (could not drop off anywhere.) When I contacted them, I was told someone will call me back.
The Telephone wire was cut to my dad's condo over the summer by workers. When he returned to his condo in November, we attempted to keep my dad's phone number moved to ******** to have phone service. We tired again when familt visited in December. We tried again when family visited in January, again in February. We have had Frontier internet service for several years now and the past few years have been terrible. Our internet is constantly going out. We call tech service, same procedures of rebooting router, setting up account and promised that our internet will work properly. Properly to me is not losing internet daily.
