If only there was a rating for negative stars. This is without a doubt the absolute WORST company you could ever hire as your wifi service. 15 minutes before they were supposed to come and install out WiFi they called and said "oh by the way we can't give you the wifi plan you wanted but we can give you one that is slower than the one you paid for" after countless hours of trying to deal with customer service I gave up completely and just ordered ******* like I should have from the start. ******* in Wisconsin ZERO STARS IF I COULD . i called them on July 27, 2020 and they were going to upgrade my internet service on July 29. Received confirmation email from them including a bill. On July 29 the order for upgrade was cancelled. No reason given. Chatted online for 1.5 hours on July 29 trying to get an answer on why it was cancelled. No reason given. Frontier has a scam going on when you decide to leave them. First, you are always in the middle of a billing cycle so that have to charge you a full months bill. They then send you a box to put all of your cable boxes in to send back to the company. They will then claim they never received the cable boxes or, as in my case, they received only one of the cable boxes. Oh my lord. I called customer service for help when the internet, cable, and phone line all went down. The lady I talked to, I believe the name was Ashley, was condescending, incredibly rude, and seemed to care for no one but herself. I tried telling her my phone number for authentication multiple times, and it became clear she was messing with me. The worst company ever. Someone "ported out" the phone line we have had for almost 50 years. This means that we no longer have control over our own phones, and Frontier allowed our number to be transferred to a company called *********.com without any verification from our end. We have received no help from Frontier, and cannot use our own phone line. I've been trying to get internet service in my area. Supposedly paying for 6m download speed. Barely get 2-3 and only one device will work at a time. I've spent countless hours on the phone with technical support. They don't issue a repair ticket when you are on the phone so the billing department doesn't show when you call in with problems. We are paying 60.00 a month for 3 M of download speed that is intermittent service. I would switch companies in a heartbeat. Terrible service, terrible company. I could go on about all t... read more
Worst company! No service for two days, but then insisted on charging me for a full month of service (we are 8 days in) to cancel. This is a terrible company, the services have not worked well for the past few months. When I called tech support, the recorded message said that there was knowledge of service problems with "no estimated time for resolution." This has been occurring for the past two days. We finally have had it- high price, low service, and very poor support. Caveat emptor!
This company has a monopoly on internet in my area and there is nothing you can do about it. If you have billing issues, internet issues, repair service, anything that needs service, you are out of luck. They do not answer their phones, call back times are over 24 hours, and they never resolve complaints. Everything they do is automatated throw gh their internet or phone service.
