Unethical company. Refuses to document what they say and later say they didn't say it. Practices are designed to hurt the customer. Don't use them. Run away from Frontier Communications as fast as you can. Zero stars. Frontier provided telephone and broadband service for my friends in Connecticut for many, many years. Due to illness, my friends were unexpectedly forced to leave their home of 30 years and take up residence in nursing homes. I assisted them by closing accounts and handling much of their business. Frontier has allowed their infrastructure to crumble and now there are problems with phone and internet service on a regular basis at my home. Customer service is quick to point out that I will be financially responsible if the issues are within the walls of my home (wiring, etc.) but that has NEVER been the problem. This company is on a swift, downward spiral and I am now looking for a better, more reliable provider.

On February 14th winter storm Uri caused me to lose internet service. For four days I was without power and I had to relocate until my power came back on. On the 18th when I returned to a home with power my router was still not working. My friends had been telling me about 2 hour call wait times so I decided to not call for a few days, as I believed not over loading Frontier seemed like the decent thing to do. i have tried to cancel my service they have lied and changed the service date just to extort money out of me .they give to competition numbers but there are useless .Don't trust anything they say because there are LIAR they don't honer anything they say .don't buy anything from them . there are company's out there much better and that will provide a lot better service .

Service is out. Can’t get through to support. When I finally did gave me an appointment for Monday 22nd. Received a alert saying my service had been restored and was not so they said a service person would come out on the 24th. So basically they rescheduled my slot because they said it was restored when it was not. On the phone for hours and no answer. Can’t get through Chat service either. Will get in a queue only to have the number changed as I get closer back to a larger place in queue. This is the worst company ever. Wil... read more

The absolute worst internet service provider I have ever used. If I could give 0 stars, I would do it. After having many issues with unreliable internet service, I finally canceled back in November 2020 - only to be told that apparently, they had notation that I had two modems which had to be returned (a service technician had previously exchanged my old modem for a new one when I continued to have problems with my internet service). They are the most frustrating and inept company of any vendor, just awful. They should be sued in a class action suit for devious business practices around billing and lack of delivery for services they charge.

this is a terrible company!! do not use them for anything !! i have tried to cancel this account since November and here it is February!!! all you get is the run around and more charges on your account that should have been canceled when you asked for it to be!
