Frontier published an article on the increase of their 'internet surcharge' from $3.99 to $6.99. https://frontier.com/resources/fee-changes-internet The customer bill was supposed to show the increase in the Important Customer Information section of the bill. My bill does not contain this information.

Frontier is not blaming the pandemic for their terrible infrastructure and service to my area. After moving into my father in law's home to help take care of him, my husband and I called to get internet installed in the home. There was already phone service. After taking our information, they scheduled a technician to come out. When the person came out, he said that he would have to put a work order on the port, and they would be back. Frontier came into our neighborhood and laid fiber optic lines - Once completed they bombarded us with offers so we decided to give them a try - WORSE DECISION EVER. The service comes and goes and their brilliant solution it to change the router. We are on router #5 and the problem still persists. We both work from home and are bleeding north of $75 an hours when down. I have been disappointed in their customer service follow through. When our internet is on and functioning, it’s great. But when the internet is out- which is often- getting it resolved has been a nightmare. Scheduling a tech to come out and then the tech never shows. The problem supposedly gets fixed remotely, but then a couple of days later- same problem. And remote technician says that we have a physical problem needing fixed. I cancelled my frontier internet and phone service due to extremely horrible and unacceptable and continuous internet problems. I asked 2-3 times whether my lifetime email would be cancelled and was assured it would not...so when they day came I called to cancel ...i was once again reassured my email wouldn't go anywhere--its a lifetime email. Of course when it was disconnected they deleted my email...no warning no anything its just gone and I can't get records or anything at ALL! It took me 4 days 3 phone calls with 2 promi... read more

I have never received worse customer service than I have from Frontier Communications. They are not even worth 1 star. They ran fiber optic cable to my neighborhood. As of this date, I have had four appointments for installation to my house. They never showed up for any of them. They never called to tell me they were not going to show. Twice I had employees tell me they are scheduling appointments and then when no one showed up for the appointment and I called customer service, I was told there was no record of the appointme... read more

Typical telecom. They force a router to be installed in order to activate internet - a worse device than one I already own - a practice that is both unethical and illegal. They claim you can return the forced router for a refund but 3 months after my return, I’m still being charged every month. Service reps claim it’s normal and eventually the refund will appear. Still waiting.

Horrible customer service. Frontier forced our business to change our static IP address due to a ******* changeover a few years back. There were problems with this change over. Online support tickets did not work. Initiated an online chat to resolve issue. Seemed like "Franco" from Frontier was having a worse day then mine. Intentionally shut off our internet. Took a few hours to get it back on. Not very nice to do that to a long time business client during tax season. Franco should be fired on the spot. I initiated an inves... read more
