By far the worse company I have ever worked with. They make mistakes, they are shady, they have cost me countless hours over the last 4-5 years. Their service is not reliable, it is not good. they suck every month something wrong with the service its always a break in the internet but they want full payment of service when you have few days out of service. Secondly if you pay ahead it shows you being late and they wanna disconnect every month have to call with receipt number. We use the internet for cameras you know San Angelo full of thieves we need to keep those cameras on at all times
Worst service to date… I recently switched from ******* to Frontier and have gotten my install time rescheduled 2 times all with late notice. Poor service and never fix what is wrong. Slow speed high prices!!! Put cooling fans in the main box. Doesn't help always without internet during the day when temperatures are hot. Been told so many times wires are old need to upgrade lines been a consumer for over 10 years and still haven't fixed the problem. Charge over 62 dollars a month and can't use internet half time. Their internet service is garbage and their customer service is given no leeway to deviate from their ridiculous policies. Seems they have hidden on the second page of the bill that you pay for the whole of the last billing cycle, even if you disconnect well before the billing cycle is complete. And then when you try to print the online chat so you have a record of it, it just prints a few blank pages.
Frontier came into our neighborhood and installed fiber. Dug up yards and put in new boxes for their equipment without removing old ones. Eventually they put down dirt and planted weeds instead of grass. When I went to turn on my sprinklers I found out they had broken the line and it was flooding out underground. When I attempted to call I couldn’t get through their automated voice system. Eventually I had to select that I was a customer, which I’m not, and some how I ended up at a live person. Never get the internet speed promised. Have days with no service. Call them and they tell you they are having issues and are working on it. A day or two later and it can be out again. I live in a rural Northwood area with few options for internet, and frontier sucks, but I need something.
Frontier communications is terrible company, and there is no surprise that they were bankrupt. The make fake charges and threaten customers who paid on time always, with collection notices, etc. I had frontier internet in long beach, ca for 1 year, and paid fully on time every single month online, but at the end of the year they charged me $58 for an 'early termination' fee and threaten to go to the credit bureau. My issue Frontier Communications is their complete lack of customer service and lack of transparency when porting old number over to their new fiber service. On March 30, 2021 I changed my internet and phone service from ******** to Frontier. Frontier had a "free installation" promotion for new customers. We wanted 500 mbps up and down which so far Frontier has done a good job providing. My issue is that when I asked if w could port our old number to the new service I was told it would be an $80 fee.
