Avoid this company!!! Since they took over for ******* the customer service is deplorable. We cancelled our service and were up to date in payments and they continued to charge us for service. I called to get a refund and they never processed the refund. I had to call back because they then charged my account for another month. They reversed that and finally refunded me but 2 weeks later I get another bill saying i am late and they are going to send me to collections. The worst communication company in existence. We have, in my area, for years dealt with terrible service. Terrible service in both the phone system and their internet service. Phones are either out or operating with severe background noise often. The internet service is far worse than the phone service, if that's possible. I have nevertheless reported a business before this. The main reason I'm reporting now is due to my Stepmother and her terminal illness. She is home with my Dad and our family, now in her final days. I tried to give this company ZERO STARS, but it wouldn't let me!!! This is the worst service provider, they messed up my accounts on more than one occasions and recently added a balance from a closed account two years ago and then interrupt my services after my bill was tripled and told me my services wouldn't be restored until that two year old account was paid..... not to mention previously I was told numerous times that my account was current and in good standing. Avoid at all costs. Internet service is spotty. Customer service is questionable. Will sit on hold for long periods. My worst experience was over an old bill in collections. This bill was over a year old. Called in to pay this debt off and have it removed. Asked if I qualified for a lower amount buyout. Was told yes. Paid said amount. While waiting for the positive boost on credit report. I starting to think they make mistakes on purpose to avoid providing services while billing for them. On four separate times, I have had to call them. Each time they had an excuse for placing my new services order in limbo. I was supposed to have my installation today. Knowing their track record, I called one hour before the service period ended. In a nutshell, their customer service never follows through on what they promise - constantly misinforming the customer and their billing dept. is a disorganized mess! We cancelled our internet service due to the extremely poor internet speeds available in our area (45 MB max) and switched to another provider offering 1,300 MB speed. AN OUTRAGEOUS HASSLE TO CANCEL OUR SERVICE! First customer rep told me our service was canceled - sending out a UPS box to return equipment...NEVER HAPPENED. Frontier Comm. has provided us with no phone or internet since 03/27/2021. They refuse to stop our service billing. Today we received another bill for 56.99. Reports were made to customer service and tech support since 03-27-2021 to no avail. They refuse to disconnect service , provide service, or refund money back to us. NEVER USE FRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS FOR PHONE, INTERNET OR ANY TYPE SERVICE. THEY REFUSE TO PROVIDE ANY SERVICE OR CREDIT TOYOUR BILL!!! I WOULD LEAVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD. THIS COMPANY IS A SHAM.

Worst customer service and overpricing for lack of service. I recently canceled Frontiers cable and went back to ****** ** because the their prices keep increasing and service is worsening. Like the only TV that worked was the one connected to the main box. The other 3 TVs always glitched during shows and recordings. Also, they advertise 500 mb high speed internet, yet when I called a on March 31, 2021, the tech said I was good and had 200 mb. Not what I am being charged for. Over the past year or more, Frontier has been stealthily removing channels from my lineup. At least 20 channels have been removed. I was neither notified, nor was my rate adjusted, until the point when one of my most watched channels, TCM, disappeared, which hit me between the eyes. I did reach out to Frontier, and was told that the price for these channels had risen, and that they were therefore removed.
