Terrible Internet provider, without email or mail warnings I received an email on June 6 saying the monthly internet is increasing by $15 a month on June 1. That’s the opposite of good business practice.
There is no way to cancel service with this company unless you call in and when you say "Cancel Service" no one comes on the line to help you and there is no way to get a call back, I have waited for 30 min plus 3 times with no answer. BUT if you say 'New Service' you get to get in line for a call back. That is a way to keep getting money for your line even if you want to cancel.
This company has failed to give us a single day of internet without dozens of signal drops throughout the day. Some days there is no internet. They have sent repair persons out a number of times but never fix the issue. We are not supposed to be charged for these visits but they charge us anyway. They acknowledge HUNDREDS of drops per day. Same issue with the land line phone. They also refuse to stop charging us despite not providing the service. I have wasted far too much time with them trying to fix these issues. Awful Company! Had multiple delays with installation and little support.
Don’t quit your day job. Frontier keeps getting worse. The service keeps getting worse you can’t talk to customer service anymore the Internet is very spotty and down regularly price keeps going up on us there’s good companies around here that need to cut through their lines and bring their businesses closer to our counties in Wisconsin and get rid of frontier communications and send them back to wherever they came from.
Frontier Internet recently added a $50 fee that is charged if you cancel your service. This fee was not disclosed when signing up for service and was never included as part of a binding contract. The fee was added $50 was fee was added in February of 2023 by adding a hidden statement in the bills without customer knowledge. This fee is allegedly to cover the cost of returning a single piece of equipment and restocking it. Beware and stay away!
This company did not refund my double payment due to internet issue. After chat 5/09 same day double payment, the said refund process has been approved, on 5/20 they said refund should arrived in the next 3 days. Today 5/30 I found out the ridiculous way that they credited for my next billing cycle,, which I never authorized..I live from my retirement check.....,I think will contact spectrum But if I owe them they for sure will send me to collections. Terrible customer service. They are billing me $50 just ship a 5 year old modem back to them. They gave me 50 MBps for 10 years with an out of date modem...the modem doesn't even cost $50. Will not go back to them again.
This company is a complete FRAUD! They advertised that they provided high internet speed at my location, so I signed up 2yrs-3yrs ago. Over these years, I have went days w/out service. At one point a technician told me I had over 1000 service drops in a day! Then customer service verified this, saying that i have a strong signal athe 1st few day of the cyle, but it drops off!
