My 88 year old dad that is going blind and has very bad hearing could not get Frontier to fix his land line. They would set appts ‘s and never show up. This went on for 2 months. Finally we stopped the service and they owed him money. They said they would send out a check in 8-12 weeks. Why so long because they can. No check after 15 weeks. Frontier is the absolute worst. I have had non-stop issues with my internet since 2009. Why don't I change providers? Frontier is the only internet available in my extremely rural area. Right now I have no landline phone or internet, so my cell phone won't work. I have no way to get a hold of anyone and if my family needs me, they cannot contact me directly. Somebody needs to step in and do something about this company. I live in an area where Frontier is the ONLY option for internet and we have had consistent issues with the service since we moved in. First of all, they never do anything to upgrade their hardware yet they continue to raise the price for their faulty service. The worst service on earth! US is letting these company get more and more dirtier.... No account for any actions. bill went from 49.99 to 67.99. nothing indicated it would change I have called twice today and waited 1 hour the first time and hung up. now on hold again.
I have been without internet for a week after contacting and opening a ticket and confirming a technician will be out. They closed out my ticket, without my knowledge, the day the technician was suppose to be here and my husband took off half a day to be here and no one showed up. We called again asking what happened with the technician and they stated they closed our ticket because “the issue was resolved” which it had not been. I called Frontier to inquire about getting internet service. During the discussion, I asked the sales person how long the price lock would be in effect for the quoted price. She informed me that the price of my service would never change. I told her that I had never heard of such a deal from an internet provider, and that I would like to get that agreement in writing. When Frontier Communications first came to our neighborhood, we were excited. Our previous internet provider was not trustworthy as the internet kept going off and on. Our neighborhood switched to Frontier and it was fast just like they said. Then the problems started. The first couple of times, their cable got cut.
