I am out of service since January 18, and was promised that a technician would have come out. No body came, neither did anyone call to say they weren't coming. We had to take time off and waited in vain. Loss of my service has caused tremendous inconvenience, however after numerous calls and no shows Frontier finally said they will come out on February 10th. I canceld my serivces in Aug '22 with a zero account balance on the last day of serivce. I was told that I owed nothing. Was actually an easy experience. In Dec '22 i just happend to stumble across an email from Froniter in my spam folder stating I was in their collections for $127. First problem, there is no option to get to the internal collections department. So I have to go through the collections department when I call to explain the situation only to be told they can't help me to transfer me to internal collections. On... read more
Purchased services on 1/20/23, installation to be done on 1/23/23 between 1pm and 5pm. did chat trying to find out status of installation, was informed the technician will be there to view area and install. 6pm came and past and still no communication from Tech or customer service. After going from department to another trying to locate tech I had enough and cancelled the service. I spent an hour and a half on Frontier chat trying to get help cancelling my service due to the high price versus low internet speed. When I would request to cancel, the agents would be non responsive. At one point for over a half hour. If I wasn’t asking to cancel, they responded in two minutes. It was the worst customer experience I have ever experienced. I ended up filing an FCC complaint because it was stunningly bad and never fixed my issues.
On June 6th, 2022, I contacted Frontier Communications to order a high-speed internet package. The operator was very professional and helpful. I ordered a mid-range internet package and was told there would be an installation fee of $70.00. I gave her my information and we set an installation date for July 7th. Can't even cancel and return their equipment! WORST experience EVER with a company! I have been on the phone for over three hours trying to return a router. They want to charge me $100 if I don't return it, but the code to return it doesn't work. Also, I work. So, when I get to the store to return it, there is no one at Frontier to take my calls because it is "after hours". I must drive 25 miles to get to the store to return it too. Unbelievable!
Horrible, horrible service. We have had frontier for less than a year and have lost service several times for extended periods of time. Tech support offers no help or information and every time they schedule a tech to come out the appointment date is about a month from the date that the appointment is made. And when we ask if we still have to pay for the month of no service the answer is yes and on top of that we may also have to pay for the tech to fix our service. Horrible service horrible company. Total waste of money. I’ve been lied to repeatedly. Told I was getting fiber cable internet from the start. Then when the rep came to install he informed me fiber cable was not available in my area. They said it would be available soon but couldn’t give a date. So for now I’m paying for a garbage service. I cannot even stream one single device without constant lag. Stay far away from this company you’ve been warned.
