I signed up for fiber internet through Frontier in January. The only way you get the maximum discount is by signing up for auto-pay, and if you get a paper bill, there is an additional fee. The amount charged for the first three months was exactly what I agreed to pay. Then in April, my bill went up by approx. $10. Because the payment is auto-pay and paperless, I did not look on the third page of the bill to discover I was being charged for "HomeShield Elite" and "My Premium Tech Pro," services I DID NOT approve and was init... read more

HORRIBLE. REVIEW=0 WARNING STAY AWAY Have been without interest for 5 days and told will be another 4 days. My wife's on a on line heart monitor so after many calls they said we will try to expedite added red flag to repair ticket but nothing. THEN I got a text 4 days later to confirm apt. I have had an ongoing intermittent connectivity problem for over 2 months. Had to wait 3 weeks for technician. Wouldn't listen to mw when trying to explain the issue, just said I think I found something, went off and later called to say everything was fixed. It wasn't. Got another ticket with almost 4 weeks to wait - July 10. Still had daily aoutages - often the same time of day for 2-4 hours. Had outage yesterday. Avoid at all costs. My service has been out for 4 weeks and every time I call they push the buck. I have heard "all we can do is give you a trouble ticket and when some gets there they get there." I have had 2 trouble tickets with appoints then received a text saying "local outage" so no one shows. Someone has to show to repair my outage!!! Terrible internet and customer service. Would rate a "0" if possible. We have been asking Frontier to repair our frequently dropped and inadequate internet service (1.2 Mbits/s at its very best which is not often) for almost a month. Technicians have been scheduled to appear, then don't several times despite several written confirmations of the appointment and numberous chats and phone calls with customer service. I have been without internet for 8 days and when I call, which getting somebody on the phone is hassle and when I get them on the phone they really cant help me. I told them its now day 8 and if I do not get service I am canceling my account and they told me that "Well if nobody shows up then call back and cancel your account" Terrible customer service.

I have been a customer since 1991, first with *******, then with Frontier Communications. We have been limited to DSL (2 to 3 MPs). When I FINALLY had another option, I called Frontier to cancel service. The Frontier representative informed me that, in addition to paying for the remainder of the month, I was also subject to a “Cancellation Fee” of $50 and a “Restocking Fee” of $50. Frontier communications was unable to fulfill there contract obligations, and as a result made me pay for restocking and refurbishing cost on their equipment. The company extorts money from those who have legitimate reasons in termination on services, not rendered by the company I would highly consider using other means of Internet service providers other than frontier communications Services.

Absolutely horrendous company to work with. We had a landline to texting service through Frontier. On October 27th, 2022, we were locked out of the account and have not had this service since then. I have spent, not exaggerating, at least 20 hours over many months trying to close our account and dispute the charges for a service we have not received and the issue is STILL unresolved.
