I have had the same problem as many I have read below. Paying for speeds that they can not supposedly give you and then they give all kinds of excuses. I was told before that I was paying for a certain amount speed but was actually only getting a small percentage of it and there is nothing they can do. It was good for the area. So your paying for 100% of the service and actually only getting 40%. Frontier has terrible service, my phone has only worked 3 days since February. Their customer service is the worst. They say it's fixed, but it's not. I have been told I can't cancel because a package I have. The internet is extremely slow and always backing up. If it rains it's even slower. I just got off the phone after listening to a CS agent named Ricardo complaining to at another CS who is Indian. Frontier is the worse phone and internet service you can have. I have been with them for years because i have no other choice. We can never use phone there is always so much static can't hear anything. I can call everyday and they will fix it and it last one day if your lucky. Then the same thing. The techs know where the problem is but company won't fix it. I was going to drop phone and keep internet, but if I do that my internet speed will go to have the speed i have now. Frontier Communications conducts business in a very evasive service practice. I called in a problem with intermittent service problems. The CS Rep claimed it was a wiring problem in my house and that I should find and hire a contractor to fix my problem. After arguing on the phone for an hour with this person, I finally offered to pay for the service tech visit if it turned out to be a problem with my house wiring. Frontier service is horrible. I wasted way to many years paying for awful service but it was the only provider in the area. When we were finally able to switch, they wouldn’t cancel my service even after numerous phone calls and chats. The service was no longer connected at my home and they are still billing me! They charged me for services they did not provide. I feel awful for all the people they take advantage of.

They are horrible been over a year and our phone lines are hanging off a farmers fence, won't bury them, they get in the road, and oh every other day we loose phone or internet. They say they will fix it but don't ever do it, and then if they do fix it, it's half done. They are a horrible company and even having a business account they don't do anything. They are extremely rude and need better manners towards everyone and wanting to bill if they come out is ridiculous if they even show up!! They deserve 0 stars!!!

Service is terrible and customer service is worse. This is the only internet available where I live or I would change. CS would not let me speak to a supervisor. Said if I had a complaint to take it to the state. So here I am. After reading all the other reviews I feel like I have wasted my time. No one cares how their customers are treated.

Frontier Communications sounds like a good internet service, but when we started the installation process, there were signs of poor customer service. Their phone tree is terrible as they shift you around from one dept. to another, put you on hold for many minutes, they apologize but still have to talk to one person after another. Their Frontier app is not set up for if you are just an internet user. To get into the app. you have to have a phone address set up with Frontier to which we don't because all we want is internet at... read more

IF I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD. After dealing with this disgusting company for 36 years, I’m posting this to help anyone who has another option, to take that option. Frontier Communication is and has been the worse company ever. It doesn’t matter which department you need, billing, repair, customer service, or help with email/internet, they are useless.
