Internet went down Thursday, called customer service was told we the only ones that called no service which I feel was a lie. Had a ticket number for someone to come put the next day got a text next day saying there's an outage and ticket was cancelled...waited to see if it was fixed. In the period between 12.6.21 and 1.20.22, I have had 5 separate internet outages. Each time this has occurred I have spent hours without internet, chatting with someone from Frontier who generally didn't have a clue what was wrong, and also an inordinate amount of time reconnecting my *****, lights, laptop, tablet, *********, cell phone, ****, thermostat, etc. that all become disconnected due to the outage. Ive been trying since October 13 to get Frontier to install my internet service. We're now on no-show appointment #6 as of 1/20/22. All customer service (online chat) will do is offer to schedule another appointment. When prompted, ive let them know my concerns in their surveys when exiting the chats, with nobody ever following up from my mostly negative surveys.
No dial tone. Service call scheduled for 1/14/22 from 1pm to 5pm. Technician arrived at 5:30pm and determined it was too dark. He promised to return the next day. Never showed up. Called Frontier, which offered another appointment in 2-1/2 weeks. Truly disappointing customer “service.”
Frontier suddenly cut off my tv service and said I would get a text when it was restored. There was “an outage in my area” but no explanation of cause and no suggestion of WHEN (days, weeks, months, never?) or how long before it would be restored, not even an estimate. I called their office in the next town and left my number with a live employee for a call back. I will call again tomorrow since it will be Monday and usual office hours.
I wrote a very poor review of Frontier about 2 weeks ago having issues for 3 years acquiring internet service. Today I am happy to report that Frontier not only installed internet at my residence but for the first time I spoke to a Frontier Rep, Felicia, who not only treated me with respect but called me back as she promised to resolve my complaint. I attempted to close my account on the 28th of December (with all equipment returned) in Denton, Texas and I am now being charged on the 7th of January for another month of service. When I called into Frontier to ask about the charge, the customer service representative told me that Frontier charges a month ahead of time. I asked the CSR then why am I being charged for the next 30 days on the 7th of January when I am not even living there? I would sue this company if possible! ZERO stars! I called and closed my account Nov.1st and was told that they would prorate my bill and to look for an updated balance in the next day. Days later, no update. Called again, was told it would be fixed again. Wasn't fixed. Received a Final Bill 45 days after closing the account that was now Past Due.! Over 6 months now with daily outages, some lasting all day and into the next day, emails about how outages have been fixed when we still have no internet, automated line isn't automated and does not tell you about outages in your area but takes you to a customer support rep who knows nothing about your area or outages. If I could give negative stars I would.
