We never have phone service. Our phone lines have been out monthly for several years. Its currently been out for a week.
Worst company ever. They are in the communications business and they are terrible at communicating with their customers. Eight phone calls and more than 8 hours of my life wasted on trying to restore service and ultimately closing my account when that didn't happen only to get a bill for service that I never had. No resolution even with their supervisors. Don't sign up with Frontier for anything!
This is the worst company possible. I work from home & noticed there was no internet. I did the usual rebooting but it didn't work, I then picked up my landline phone & it was completely dead. At 7:50 AM I called Frontier to let them know of our issues. They said it was the weekend after the Easter holiday, the likelihood of anyone coming to look at it, wouldn't be until tomorrow between the hours of 8-12. I’m 75-year-old man living alone with a heart condition this past Wednesday I called because my phone was out and the wireless service was shaky at best. Our WiFi goes out daily; sometimes more than once and often for days. We had no problems with *******; then Frontier/*** took over and what a disaster!!! They admitted to antiquated equipment to me while a ******* VP was on the line listening but the deal was done. They told me they have no plans to EVER replace or update equipment in our area yet they advertise fiber optic WiFi with lightening speed PLUS a $200 gift for signing up. a few months ago Frontier ran a cable from a frontier utility box on ******** Rd across my land, then under my driveway. the cable runs across the rest of my land to my neighbors land to their house . the cable has never been trenched in. i have contacted Frontier several times to get this trouble taken care of. i have been hung up on more than once. i been given work order numbers that were suppose get the work done. the personnel sent out did nothing. “not their job”. so i have been given lip service with no one solving th... read more
I ordered internet on 2/18/22 for my new house and I had to contact Frontier right away because it would not connect. I spoke to the technician and he could not connect me either. I had no choice but to cancel it with him right away and he told me that he would add a note to zero out the bill when I received it. I contacted Frontier when I got the bill and the supervisor told me that she would prorate it for me. How could they charge me for something that I never had?
Terrible customer service in general and then on top of that they charge you a fee to end your service? This on top of the router fee they charged for years even if you didn't take one of their routers. They have a good product but they treat their customers horrible and are awful to deal with. They also notoriously charge hidden fees and provide no reason for the fee. Disconnect fee $10 monthly broadband access fee $4. What a joke of a company. Tried to get fiber service and went through all kind of stuff to get the agent to understand that fiber service is on my street. Once that was done went through all the *** to get service like all personal info just to be told, Oh there will be a $150 deposit. So if you don’t have perfect credit score they want a deposit! Should have been told that upfront.
