I truly do not understand how this company can get away with robbing people of their money, by sending fraudulent bills, not respecting cancellation requests, and not taking phone calls for resolution. Where is the oversight? I came to the BBB site to try to get resolution, and apparently they are not accredited? This is insane.
Frontier monopolizes the industry in my area and the service they provide is horrible. The phones is always staticky. The company never updates equipment always screwing their customers out of money.
I was led to believe that I was purchasing high speed internet when my service was provided the options were offered as cable has a speed DSL has a speed etc thus DSL seem like it was enough for my needs and so for 8 years was led to believe that I was receiving the DSL that they advertised and I paid for that service only to realize that I was paying the same DSL price is all of their other customers but only receiving a fraction of the data I recently changed from satellite cable to streaming like most Americans when I did... read more
I can't give zero stars so a 1 will have to do. I recently had a $378 charge show up on my frontier internet bill. I paid the bill in attempt to keep my services from being disconnected and then reached out for an explanation of the charges. Frontier can't tell me what service or dates of service the charge covers. They have no bills to refer to. Very poor customer service. I took my complaint to the office of the president and it still did not get resolved. This is from the South Windsor, Ct location. I paid my bill on line on July28 2021 using a credit card that I always use. When I received my credit card statement, I noticed that Frontier took out another $38.20 on July 30, 2021. Ordered internet for my business. I just had to cancel my services after 30 days due to LACK of education with their customer service, which left me without all the information. This is very upsetting and ridiculous. Our mountain home in Marble, NC has had no internet since Oct 6, 2021. After multiple phone calls and hours on the phone I was offered a $32.93 credit, after paying $110 a month on time with no service. BUSINESSES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONDUCT BUSINESS THIS WAY. The Federal Government needs to step in on this type of POOR PRACTICE that is being ALLOWED AND TOLERATED. This is wrong - I am paying for services I did not receive! I signed up for internet service through Frontier, and could not get it work. For a month, I was on the phone every other day with customer service and had multiple techs out, and nobody could help. Finally, a customer service rep said she would send me a new router, thinking the actual router was the problem. Very poor customer service. Installed internet service 12/8/21 did not bury cable. Was told a third party company would come to bury the cable in 5-7 days as of 1/24/22 I have had no contact from this 3rd party company and the cable is on top of the ground run across my yard and driveway. I have made a complaint to Frontier three times and was told they couldn't do anything and would have the 3rd party Co. Contact me. I am still waiting and the cable is a hazard in the yard and driveway.
