I've had frontier communication for several years and they've been a very bad provider of internet service until I finally got an updated service because of the new fiber optics that's finally coming to the Southern Illinois area so I have better service and a better box now. Yesterday a frontier technician was at my building and my pole disconnected my service and I am in good standing with my account. The Frontier reps consistently come by my house even though there is a large “No Solicitation” sign. They always say “we’re not selling anything but are here for customer service.” I don’t have Frontier so they are willfully ignoring the sign. I believe they are trained this way because it’s consistent no matter who shows up. This company truly has no integrity.

Frontier came out to fix my services on May 12th and come to find out my service was cut at the pole! The tech who came out said he could not fix it and to call them back. So I did. They admit that they cut the wrong line and refused to come out the same day to fix it! I'm not happy that I have to wait 5 days to have my service restored! They red flag me for complaining and would not attempt to get it restored faster. So after day 3 of no service of internet and phone I've cancelled my service! I disconnected Frontier Communications in December of 2021, they didn’t want to issue a refund so made me wait til the end of the billing period, I didn’t want to argue, after years of trying to get service I was thrilled to be rid of them. Told me there would be a disconnect fee of $10, told them good luck with that, after 3 $10 statements I finally called and they said they would give a “one time” credit. So I set up Frontier Service as a new mover on 5/4/22 unfortunately I didn’t move in my place until the following day. I advised the technician that I will be moving in a day later. I called and scheduled an appointment for 5/11/22 from 1pm to 5pm. It’s was a no show, no call, no email. I called they told me my order was stuck and no one processed it. I had an appointment scheduled for an 8 - 12 window. The technician called to tell me he was 30 minutes away, I informed my husband who had arranged his work scheduled around this installation. Technician Rodney called after 30 minutes to inform me he could not make the appointment, due to technical problems. I advised him I would be able to be home later that day. Have had these losers for 9 years before they were even names frontier. Loyal customer always take care of my end. Now I’ve been getting swindled for 6 days while the whole time my internet is down. I’ve spent over 7 hours on the phone with this subpar company and their poorly trained employees. I was looking for backup data to my ******** cable. I called Frontier who stated they had DSL in the area. I had to give them my SS# and they ran a credit check. The representative said they would be out on the 5th of May. They were no show. I called and after 30 minutes of "pass around" Frontier told me the service was no available in my area and canceled the install. Yesterday, I got a bill for 3 times what I was quoted. The prices kept going up and the amount of channels kept going down. After they refused to drop my price (I called loyalty department), I decided to switch to a different company. And when I called them to cancel, all of a sudden they could offer me my original price because I was with them so long. I had already gone through with the switch so after I switched I called to make sure I didn’t have to return anything.
