They are the only providers not in my area but just the line I am on. I have verified this. I have had frontier internet for years and since the beginning they have left me with old lines that get backed up with other customers usages as well. Terrible service! Recently my internet went out, and my phone service wasnt working correctly. I went through many chats, and actual phone calls with customer service throughout the week I had no service. The trouble ticket they started for me had the incorrect information on it, and when I tried to get that changed they said they couldnt edit it, they only had so many choices. Frontier has left me without service since the middle of July to the 7th of august no phone no internet they will set a date for service and no show, and then set another date, the last time was the5th of august again no show. I called and the next date they set was August 19th. At this point I canceled their service
I contacted Frontier via FB, phone to have my service disconnected as of June 30 based on a move to a location NOT serviced by them. I contacted them to see where to turn in the 2 cable boxes that were in my possession and was FINALLY told to recycle them. They are alleging they have no record of my disconnect and are showing the account instead SUSPENDED. Why in the world would you dispute the word of an over a decade customer. I have had Frontier service for years. About a year ago they increased the rate on my service without notifying me and switched me to paperless billing without my request to do so. Despite my requests to receive a bill, they never changed it and never even sent me an electronic bill. So I continued to send in the payment I had always been paying every month. I thought I had a decent level of service from Frontier with my internet. I wanted to keep them however they don't service my new area. I call to confirm this and the agent confirms they don't service my new area I'm living in. I finish my last month of services even though I didn't need it but I had already been billed. I have been calling them for the past 6 years telling sometimes 2 twice a week once month 5 times we have internet when it rains none at all. I have been telling them for over 6 years now there's box at the end of the road ran over lines all messed up under water. I work from home and when I lose internet I don't work I don't get paid. I think it's time for Frontier to reimburse me my wages since they don't want to fix it!
I only had internet service for 4 days in July. The service was down 7 days, and went it was resolved, my modem wasn't working, They shipped a modem with a tracking number on 11 July due to receive 13 July. Never got it. Called on July 13, was told it's on its way. Called 15 July oh will send out a new modem you should get it 2 business day. Called again 19 July. Sorry about that will send out a new modem. I chose to switch to Frontier after ********** kept raising their prices. Frontier has been installing fiber networks in my area for about two months or so and I decided to try them. During my 1G install, my mbps was significantly lower than before the install (I did speed checks on all my computers and devices).
