Our phone service went out September 26th. They gave us a repair date of October 26th! In addition we have very poor internet service and there have been no upgrades to their equipment and anywhere you look there are trees and branch on the lines. Their poor service people were cut back and are stretched to the max. The call service for reporting your outage have people that do not speak English making it difficult to understand them and they have zero concept of rural areas. In short, we need ** **** back!!!
I have been trying to get service at my address for 2 months. 7 times they have canceled my appt. Poor business practice for such a large company.
The company was the primary cable supporter for our Condo association in Avon CT. First, they misrepresented their internet speeds and asked me to pay for services I did not receive. When our condo association went with another provider I called. I agreed to pay for the services I did receive in a prorated bill. They indicated I must pay for services I did not receive. We have had frontier internet and have had terrible customer service. Our line was cut by ******** while installing service to our neighbor. Frontier took two+ weeks to resolve our problems. We run a home business here and have students in online school. We lost revenue and our students are behind in school. When they finally came out, they cut our neighbors ******** line while running our new cable. Terrible attitudes and no regard for anyone else’s situation. We will be changing companies for our internet
Frontier signed us up for auto pay, installed our service, then didn't charge us. They then turned off our service and charged a late fee, as well as charged us $5 more than advertised. On top of that, there doesn't seem to be a way to contact them to sort this issue out. Additionally, don't use their website. Their app is the only thing that has any semblance of function.
For a company with such dominance and control in the communications space, Frontier ought to be more heavily controlled, managed, and even sanctioned by the Federal Communications Commission. The quality of their staff is poor, and the attitudes of employees are negative. They know they are doing a poor job but because they have very little competition and not much oversight, Frontier does nothing to remedy the situation. Frontier Communications was contacted September 1, 2022 because our landline telephone is experiencing a lot of static noise on it, often in different intensity. A technician was here on Friday the 23 of September and established that the problem is outside the house and related to the land line lines being under ground in Riverton (off of Scottsville-West Henrietta Road , Zip 14586). Service stopped working. They won't have a technician to fix it for 2 weeks+. Why am I paying 100/month. Their automated services are equally atrocious. Wish I went with another service.
The worst! internet continually out, and when you are scheduled an appointment no one will show up. Living in the country we have no cell service so we are unable to even receive a text should they decide to send one. They continually cancel their scheduled appointment and we have had no phone service or internet in over a month. This is a real safety issue.
