Total bait and switch to get you to sign up. They promised a $200 reward card for new customers after 90 days and then magically have no record of it after 6 months. Now they claim that I need to wait an additional 90 days in order to receive it. As of right now, I have wasted hours on a Sunday and am being offered a $100 credit on my account instead of the reward card. Please take my warning and do not do business with this company. They have been a nightmare from day one and have the worst customer service.

They stop sending me bills and wonder why I didn't pay. After notification that I was late, I can't even recieve an itemized bill on line and their customerservice claims they can't email me an itemized bill. They are willing to charge me for a snail mail bill. Their web site will only identify totals for the month. Terrible billing, administrative and customer service. I will recommend our HOA get a new provider.

Internet service went out in our area on Monday, November 21. Several calls have been made and they will not send a tech out until December 12. They are stating there is not an outage in our area despite multiple calls from several of our neighbors who have been without internet and some without telephone since Monday.

I have paid frontier for my phone service. My service has been going in and out for 2 years starting in 2020 they come and fix it. It lasts for a short time they fix it again this problem has continued. This year 2022 I called in the complaint 10/2022 I was told they would not be able to come out for two weeks. When the appointment date came they postponed the appointment for another week. They have continued to reshedule the appointments. It has been a month and a half and i still have no service. I'm having the same problems getting a tech in to service my phone line. No phone since 10/7/22 and I've called at least 5 times and each time they give me a service date and tech never shows or calls. Of course, Frontier never contacts me about the service date changes AND each time I call, I'm told they will expedite my service request. Not! This isn't only VERY frustrating but what would happen if I didn't have a cell phone and I needed to call 911?????? It's a safety issue and Frontier just does not care. I will be chang... read more

Frontier demanded my social security number to run a credit check. I said I was happy for them to run a credit report, but I know that they can use my driver's license number to obtain it. I said I would give them my DLN, but because I've had my identity stolen and have been told to never give out my SSN, I refused to give it. I was badgered until I gave them the number. Very good internet performnce and reliability. Terrible billing and administration. 

Business response:

Requires careful review of the instalation items.Signed up for a offer that included **** Pro router but a ***** router was provided. Called Frontier and a **** router was quickley sent and I returned the ***** router, Billing charged $150 for the non return of **** router. Callled 6 times, the representatives were helpful and said the issue was resolved and a credit will be put on my account. Nothing ever happened. The credit never appeared. We have had static on our phone line when it rains for almost a year. It got worse to the point where when it rained our internet dropped out dozens of times during the day. Called 3 months ago to schedule someone to come fix. 5 times they scheduled a visit and 5 times they never showed up. Customer service is a big fat zero. Will be calling to cancel our service.
