Terrible, horrible service. Our AC went out the day after our daughter's 1st birthday. It was in the 90s+ for the next 2 weeks. We called Fred's emergency line starting Friday evening around 7pm with no answer. They had business hours from 8-12pm on Saturday, so we called every 30 min on Saturday during business hours, no answer. Started back calling the emergency line at 12pm until Monday, left 2 voice-mail, and never got a return phone call. Their paperwork says "24 hour response guarantee." Well, that is false. It is important to note that our phone systems were down, as our office was without power, for the full weekend when you initially called due to the crazy storms and 100 mph winds that happened that Friday night. We regret that you could not reach us, but unfortunately that was out of our control. Our service manager was first made aware of the issue with the system on 07-13-2021. Great customer service and response times! Fred's installed our new systems a couple of years ago. There were a couple of minor issues, but they took care of them right away! We are on their scheduled maintenance and things are working great!

Great experience AGAIN with Fred's installing the 2nd unit in my house! Melissa (in sales) was very informative when she came out to give me the options for my home. Several years ago Melissa sold us a Mini-Split for our attic. That whole experience was awesome, so she was the one and only person I called to give us an estimate for a new unit for the main part of the house. Just had Rusty from Fred’s out to do a second opinion on my furnace after another very prominent HVAC company told me last week the heat exchanger was breached and I needed a expensive repair - which they made it clear they didn’t think was the best option - or a whole new system, including AC. This morning Rusty checked it out, proving the furnace is fine by both visual inspection and using a highly sensitive carbon monoxide sensor, and said there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the furnace. Our A/C went out late Friday night, called Fred’s on Saturday and they said they could have a tech here within the hour. We appreciated that since the heat index for the weekend was supposed to be over 100 degrees. Mike arrived and knew immediately that our A/C had frozen because of a low charge. There was ice build up on the coils inside and water bubbling on the unit. Mike thawed the ice, checked the unit then went outside to check the Freon.
