Citizens claims dispute - I filed a dispute with citizens bank on a charge made to my debit account for $450 on 06/28 from a rental company that was scamming **** came to an agreement with The rental company before citizens was even able to get a hold of them and received a refund from **** for $225 on 06/30. I financed my iPhone purchase with Citizens Bank lending through Apple. I paid off the loan in full, and there is no way to stop automatic payments from occurring. I also cannot delete my banking information from my online account. Why does this company need to retain all of my bank account information after the loan is paid off? And customer service can't tell me how many years they will retain my confidential personal information. They do not have a mailing address for customer complaints. This is ridiculous.

I got a car loan from these people a few years back and knew it was at a higher interest, but was assured at the time of the loan that there would be no prepayment penalties should I be able to pay the loan off early. Today after years of paying payments I asked what would be my pay off, and they informed me that the full balance of interest and principle for another year would be due. After paying off the loan they added late fees. They said the late fees had never been paid. Even though I had 3 months of statements showing nothing was due and late fee section was 0. They told me they dont have to put late fees on your statements every month. Fraudulent company.

I have a Citizens One mortgage and the experience has been absolutely dreadful. I had to escalate it to the ****** of ***** to get any response. Firstly their customer service team and the loss mitigation see different information. They do not talk to each other for resolution. Secondly they do not have a ticketing system, so it will take you to a different person everytime you make a call and it has to go on for hours till you finally explain them the situation and get on board. Stay away from this bank. Their fees are ridiculous. If you overdraft and cannot pay ASAP, they charged you a fee. Then 3 more fees. And then a final fee for god knows what. So its fee on top of fee on top of fees. We are still in the middle of a pandemic here. How can you charge so much. My complaint is I have been paying what I can. I have had my account overdrafted and was enrolled into their debit card overdraft protection and I did not overdraft my account, yet according to Citizens Bank I have, and now they will not fix their mistake, the woman in the *********, ** Branch said it was a mix up on my account and someone else's number being the same, but I believe that to be false, they are doing this on purpose. I would give 0 stars if I could. Have a car loan through them. Was schedule for automatic payments for almost 3 years when I decided to change the bank account for the automatic payments. First month after the change was charged the monthly payment on both account. Let it go cause I had the money and no overdraft occurred but assumed it was due to the recent change and a confusion in their system. I got a car loan from them, and have been paying it off by automatic payments from my checking account at another bank. Wanted to switch to another checking account at a third bank. Not possible. The payments from new bank keep bouncing back. The old account keeps getting charged.
