After paying a car loan for 3+ years and receiving PAPER statements, Citizens one with NO NOTICE AT ALL electronically or paper, changed my statements to "electronic statements" then had my email blocked so I could not even get them!!!I know mistakes happen but now when I inquired im told I have to pay a fee to receive a paper statement!!!!I feel they defrauded me to try to make me miss a payment and charge me a late fee.Now im one that would like paperless statements as long as loan companies/bank did NOT charge a massive f... read more

I received a letter in the mail yesterday claiming that "This was a final attempt to contact me regarding payment for an iPhone loan".First of all, I have NEVER heard of this company. I went online to see if they did actually exist and found their web page. I called the number listed on the letter I received and spoke to "********". I was duped into a loan with Citizens Bank through Vivint. A direct draft from my bank account was set up after I learned what they did since they said I was stuck with this loan, but they apparently didnt draft payments then turned me over to a collection attorney without every mailing me any notices that there was a problem. They dont communicate with customers. As far as I know they are scams. They couldnt even spell my name correctly after I notified them numerous times that they had it spelled wrong.

I would give zero stars if it were an option. **************** line is TERRIBLE. Not sure how you can call right when the line opens before the sun comes up and your call isnt answered after 25 minutes. If I didnt have so much connected to this account I would have closed it years ago. The app is also so outdated, there is no option to chat or email anyone from it and the customer service number listed there is strictly just for app issues. Worst bank ever.

This business is subpar. I have an account with citizens one as a result of my Vivint home system. Apparently they are a paperless business so the contact you through email that is sent to your spam or junk mail. This is what the representative,******, told me. After 140 days, I received a letter in the explaining that my account would be dropped and reported although I was originally told by Vivint that this would be auto drafted at the same time as my Vivint account. I opened a Citizens Bank account because the woman I was babysitting for used to write me checks through them, so I figured it would be easier to just open an account. I made a HUGE mistake. Citizens mobile app does NOT show your correct available balance. They sneak transactions through right before midnight so that your account will go under and they can charge you an overdraft fee. Citizens has horrible mishandled my COVID forbearance and I still do not understand why they have given me multiple different responses to whether or not I'm eligible for a COVID forbearance. I originally applied for the forbearance in April of 2020 and then recieved a letter in October stating that the option had expired and I had to pay, not option to extend. Citizens Bank continues to blame merchants for their incompetent handling of my account when it's THEIR poor business services that caused me to file a complaint against Citizens Bank. I recv'd 2 voice mails re: my complaint, returned their calls, didn't reach the people who left messages because they deliberately failed to leave their extension numbers. this bank will rip you off any way they can. Sent in full payoff amount they requested, then they decided to take part of that amount as a payment first, then there wasn't enough to payoff the loan . interest grab for an extra $100 . The cfpb needs to look into their practices
