Wow! looks like there are others in this review that share my pain. ***************** horrible. So my account has no information in it. It tells me to call into their customer service. I called in to "customer service" number. That wait time on hold was about 35 mins. I got told that I called online banking and needed to be transferred to mortgage. **************** is just USELESS! I have been waiting for a supervisor to call me back for over 1 week now. Called again today and was given the run around once more. Waiting for another call back now which I'm sure will never come. Citizens One Home Loans has been an absolute awful customer experience. I received ******************** hardship forbearance at the start of Covid, which yes, was much needed and appreciated during that time. However, after the forbearance period ended, it's been OVER A YEAR and THREE loan modification requests later THAT STILL HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED A YEAR LATER. One of worst banking experiences. I signed up using an online offer code and had fulfilled all the terms of the offer. When time came to receive the offer bonus, I did not receive it and I called in to the customer service. They told me that they were not sure if the offer code exists because they did not see it on my account. Citizens initially mixed up my insurance information for a simple refinance with the company. Citizen one discontinued my insurance policy on my old account with them, to apply it to the new refinanced loan. After that, the **************************** began sending harassing letters that they had been removed as lien holder on my mortgage and that I need to fix it as I'd not paid off the initial mortgage -when it was THEIR OWN company that had removed it and placed it on themselves on the new mortgage as lean holders. The worst customer service ever. I wish I could give them ZERO stars. They changed out their online banking system. And now I can never login without calling in to customer service to have everything reset. Every. Single. Time. There is no; chat, email, or call back feature. I couldn't access my account in time this month, and they know there is a problem with their online system - they charged me a late fee. They messed up in depositing my check and did the account number wrong. So things bounced. They refunded but not after o got a rude woman who never even apologized for the error. A week later I went to use my debit at the store doesnt he street and it was flagged with fraud.. I then went to check and they suspended my account. Im getting zero help and they are incompetent. Zero regard and their customer service is atrocious. Do not use this bank!
The only reason I gave them one star is because there isn't an option to give them -5 stars. My mortgage was just sold to this bank before I made my first mortgage payment. Horrible customer service. Do not open an account with Citizen, and I'd recommend transferring or refinancing to any account out of their hands.I've waited over 3 hours in 2 calls over 2 days on hold and been disconnected both times by Citizens Bank. I hope their phone system is down, and I hope they are not concentrating on new accounts and ignoring existing accounts. But why not have an email? A message on their phone system?
