Horrible credit card services. Making a direct ACH payment transfer directly from my checking account which is an IMMEDIATE transaction, they constantly hold my payments, sometimes up to 2 weeks for no reason and do not credit my payment to my card in a reasonably timely manner. This company is very good at approving ppl with low credit to give them a chance at rebuilding their credit, but they don't take customer service very highly. After medical issues caused me to loose my employement and have the account closed and remaining balance due. When I was able to catch up and settle the account I was told the account as well as chargeoff status would be removed but multiple calls and emails later and it has yet to be done as agreed upon in settlement. I have been a member of First Premier for over two years. I have been late once by a few days and I paid the late fee with no problem. But I have always made sure I have made my payments and they have NEVER been over 30 days late. All the sudden in the last two months, I have been bombarded by phone calls from them with of course "NO CALLER ID" as what comes up on my phone. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I registered for a credit card with this company online back in February 2019 to help build my credit score. I got the card in the mail and saw that for so little credit they charge an activation fee, a start up fee to use the card and a monthly payment. First Premier Bank is a scam. I received a pre approved credit card offer in the mail. I went online and was approve for a $500 credit limit bit I first had to pay $29, which I did. I then received my first statement, via mail, and noticed $125 was charged to my credit card from First Premier Bank for an annual fee I guess. I thought it was strange that I received the statement before I received my card so I called them. They accept payments from people then say they can't verify their bank but they don't return the funds
I have contacted this company about validating the debt they say I owe to them on 2/4/2019 and did not receive the original documentation requested. Instead I recieved a typed notice with a few dates on it dated 2/5/2019. I ask how is my accout being validated/verified to the credit reporting agencies if they are not providing the original and correct signed documentation required. I got a secured credit card to help build my credit around April of 2018 with FPB. I had no issues until around December of 2018 with them. I had a payment that was returned due to my *********** account being closed because they were bought by another bank. So I called and spoke with a lady and she assured me she would take care of the old bank account and that I just needed to get online and set up my new one, all was good I wasn't late and I made my payment for December. I got a letter saying I was pre-approved for $700 card, when I went on and tried to get it they said denied, I called to find out why and was told I had to many cards with them, I explained I had no cards with them, then the story changed to I applied to many times, they then went on to say if I gave them $59 right then I could have a $500 card- why would I do that when I was already "pre-approved for $700"?
