Had the card 2 months. Only been able to use once. I have a credit limit of $300 and haven't used $200 yet only for them to freeze the account. I set up a payment of $100 and they still won't unfreeze the account for use. Might as well be a secured credit card.

If I could give a 0 I would, by far the worst experience I have ever had with any credit card company. Yes they will approve you a credit card and in my case two, why I have no idea. My payments were always on time up until the point of hitting some financial hardship. I paid very high fees to open the account and for credit line increases. Both accounts went into default, then collections with a company First Premier was apparently unaware of which made no sense. I recieved a pre -approved letter in the mail on 7-14-18.. I called and spoke to a very nice customer service person. She was very helpful and very informative and I ask a lot of questions and she gave me all the answers but, at this time I decided that this card is not for me. Thanks you very much foe the offer and please do not inquire on my credit. ********

How did they get A+ rating? this company charges me $87 for a yearly fee and they charge $8 a month for the card. I called to cancel and get my yearly fee that I paid but they told that I have used the card already. I wanted to close my card the minute I got my statement but they said it was too late because I have used the card already. I just want to close my account and get my money back. Customer service is terrible. This is not a credit card company these guys are loan sharks they should not be able to conduct unethical... read more

I was one of those with "less than perfect" credit and doing anything to build it. I got a card with First Premier and still have it about 5 years later. I have to tell you, with out people like me they wouldn't be able to afford the rude employees who answer the phones. For those with "less than perfect" credit, how do you think they got that way? By not having a lot of money or being irresponsible. So, as a company its "fair" to charge a pretty substantial annual fee, on top of a ridiculous monthly fee....ON TOP OF an OUT... read more

As others have noted, they apparently charge an annual fee to go with their monthly fee. Fair enough, I'm sure it's in the fine print. Probably also in that fine print is that they'll charge that annual fee, and even if it's mere days after your most recent payment, should it, and the monthly fee and their interest fees, around $120 for all that, push you over your credit limit by say...$40, they'll have a hyper rude, aggressive and barely intelligible collector call you! This company is horrible. I called them today to close my account when I realized they were charging me a $** monthly fee on top of 36% interest and a yearly fee. I was totally harassed by the man that I was trying to close the account with. After harassing me he finally closed it, at least I hope he did and then said cut the card up and hung up on me! I know it's my own fault for ever getting involved with this company but I am just warning everyone. DO NOT GET A CREDIT CARD FROM THEM. THEY ARE CROOKS.

When I was unable to work I was placed on a paydown program for my credit card where I was told that I would pay a set amount until the balance was paid off. During that time I was not supposed to be charged interest or any monthly fees. Then after 12 months I was charged a monthly fee when I only had 2 payments left. I called and was told that the program I was entered into was only for 12 months and that as long as I had the account open I would be charged a monthly fee. This company is absolutely horrible to work with. I have sent my proof of insurance for the subject of my loan in no less than four time over the last 3 months and they are still trying to make me pay forced insurance. They have admitted a vendor mistake on their part but still cannot seem to figure this out. Official complaint to the BBB and Attorney General are forthcoming. Do yourself a favor - get your financing elsewhere - negative stars.
