If the kids are bored with the video games and are yearning for something far from the ordinary, travel 35 minutes north of Branson to this spectacular underground chamber. Discovered in 1862 by a farmer's dog, these huge caverns are filled with stalactites and stalagmites. All tours take place on a guided jeep-pulled tram in order to preserve the natural features and each tour lasts about an hour. The underground temperature remains at or near 60 degrees, so dress appropriately.

We enjoyed the amazing cave and the history. My son has special needs and really enjoyed it as well. My only wish was that the tour was longer, and we had opportunities to get out of the tram to look more closely. Overall it was a great experience and we'd happily go back.

Jeeps, caves and dogs? Best tour ever! We had a "fantastic" time here. You will arrive at a brand new parking lot that is national park nice. It is modern, clean, spacious with great picnic spots. The visitor center is top notch with cool stonework and cave info. The guides were super friendly and obviously enjoy working here.
