If the kids are bored with the video games and are yearning for something far from the ordinary, travel 35 minutes north of Branson to this spectacular underground chamber. Discovered in 1862 by a farmer's dog, these huge caverns are filled with stalactites and stalagmites. All tours take place on a guided jeep-pulled tram in order to preserve the natural features and each tour lasts about an hour. The underground temperature remains at or near 60 degrees, so dress appropriately.

amazing tour definitely worth it
I love this place. The caves were flooded so we could not go way back in them, however, the team took us into the caves that are basically under the gift shop area. It was great and we understand the flooding, because of all the rain in MO and surrounding areas this year. Highly recommended!
This is an awesome way to see a unique part of Missouri! It was a great tour and really covered alot of information. our guide Sam was great! Go! it is worth it!
Went there to find out the cave was flooded. Told us there would be good chance it opens during afternoon. We just finished a tour. Richard was our tour guide. He’s amazing! He is so knowledgeable and fun. He’s great with children and so sweet. We love him! He taught us a bunch about the cave itself and caves in general. We are so happy we came and will be coming back again. Thank you so much for the great family time!
We went today and had a blast!!
Toured the caverns in early April. Informative and knowledgeable tour guide. Enjoyed riding through the caverns. Would be great for parents with small children and, of course, us older folks.
Great place. The tour was amazing, and there is a nice scenic trail you can take after the tour. The staff were kind and knowledgeable. We hope to stop again someday.
Simply a beautiful awesome experience!!!
