RecommendedEveryone at Northwestern is personal and professional as can be. Even though I am 2 1/2 hours away I would recommend them over all. Spending time in there for 2 heart issues I find that ALL the staff should get the highest praise. If not for Dr. Phan and many of the doctors, I would not have a second chance in life. I was referred to NW in conjunction with a genetics test. I thought it was part of the test rather than an add-on. No one told me it was out of network and I received a $591 invoice. This was nothing more than an office visit. After being tranferred to 6 different people, NW is unwilling to give me a negotiated price. They treat insurance companies better than people.
This Hospital should be investigated they are t letting patient Suffer and don't know what patient need and when they want to do surgery they let people wait. and DON'T take your family to emergency there they make you wait 7 to 8 hours for room
I have been hospitalized twice here in the last two months (one where I was transferred from another hospital and the second where I went because if complications following). Minus my ER experience....I don't think I have ever received such care and compassion from anywhere else. I worked with a lot of doctors and nurses who truly cared about their patients. Shout out to the the staff on Feinberg floors 11 and 13 for everything they did. Thank you again!
I had spine surgery at Northwestern and knew I was getting the best care possible. I was comfortable, well informed, and treated with compassion during my 5 day stay. I wouldn’t trust my back to anyone else!

My friend Natalie Finamore is being held there against their will. They are no longer having suicidal thoughts but have been kept in their locked room for 36 hours, despite requesting to leave and will not release them into their partner’s care.
When I was transferred from Northwestern Central Dupage Hospital To Northwestern Memorial Hospital with Stomach pains and Blood they had me in Surgery to remove my Colon which was about to rupture within 24 hours after I was Transferred. When I was out of Surgery I was told If I was not Transferred when I was then I could have died. Shout to Micheal Mgee for Saving my life. He is the best Surgeon out there!
