I used to love Northwestern as a hospital until my most recent visit when a billing incident went wrong. After calling the billing department, I got the runaround for a month and told me they’d call me back, which never happened. After calling again, they kept redirecting me to different departments for days. So very disappointed just came with my daughter Jill for an MRI appointment the order is messed up they put someone else in her appointment slot and costumer service was unsympathetic and no help they should turn this place into a hotel
My son (college student) was just seen here today and I am so upset with the experience he had I wish I could give a -10! Complete lack of professionalism. When he tried to give verbal consent (he even requested to provide written consent) for someone to talk to me on the phone he was told by a tech that it was “illegal”! I am in Texas, concerned about my son, and he couldn’t get anyone to talk to me. I finally made him put me on speaker phone so they had to talk to me. I will be writing a formal complaint.

I've been really ill with several serious conditions and been hospitalized several times within the last 2 months ..Im here cause for 21 years coming here I never had a bad experience..feels like home and doctors.. nurses..everyone here feel like family to me..trust them 100%..they safed my life a couple of times and this time I had surgery done 1 week ago were I was at high risk of dying during surgery..Im alive and now recovering! Post operative care was utterly amateurish. Multiple care givers would come into the room and poke and examine and not even introduce themselves. Prescribed medication from home was with held, and then LOST.
